Same as above. Caller claimed I had filled out an online job form, represented himself as "Joseph Peters", would not tell me the street address in "the Orland area" and then politely ended the call.

i think WN positions is not a scam company. Because they offer you a education . Just like me they help me to go back on school .. Maybe their strategy sounds suspicious but it helps you a lot ..

Phishy Phone Call
Google: ?WN Positions? + ?Joseph Peters? + Scam

(443) 406-1673
I received a suspicious call on my CELL PHONE from the number listed above.  It was from a young guy who said that he was responding to a survey I filled out.  He said that I had purchased a Wal-Mart gift card and filled out a survey when I made that purchase.  On that survey, he said that I had checked the box that said I was interested in job opportunities.
At that point, I knew he had either mistaken me for somebody else, or was phishing, because I knew that I had never purchased a gift card from Wal-Mart and also had not filled out any survey intimating that I was seeking employment.  So I asked him who he thought I was.  I wanted him to state my name.
Instead, he continued right along with his questionnaire.  First, he asked if I was 18 or over.  Then he asked if I had at least a GED.  Once again, I asked him to state my name.
He said that he worked for W.N. Positions.   He continued right along, asking me if I was attending any school at the moment.   Again, I asked him to state my name.
He continued on, but I interrupted him again, and requested his name.  He said that his name was JOSEPH PETERS, and then he chuckled.  Again, I asked him to state my name.
He continued on, but after just a couple more words, I said that I would turn this matter over to my company?s security department and then hung up.

if someone ask for your personal information give them a false information then try to play their game. if they are asking your credit card or your security number then it is a scam. but if they try to sell you or to recommend you if you want to go back to school or jobs w/out asking your credit cards or security number well I guest it is a telemarketers.

joseph peters is an automated robot. i was able to ask him some several question like what is your mothers name or who is the current president of the united states and he can't answer. so i was able to conclude that this joseph peters is a robot. I tried to give him false information and he ask some of my personal information like my name,DOB,and Email. But first he ask me if I want a job and ask me some pre screening questions then he will send me the information in my email. after he suggest me if I want to further my education within the next 6 months, and I said  Yes, then he transfer me to their educational adviser which is a real person then confirm my information and correct the spelling. then after that they transfer me to the school that I want to enrolled and I spoke to the adviser of that school.

Received call 2013-02-08 from "Joseph Peters" of "WN Positions" from 408-622-0813 said I had filled out an online survey about job opportunities.
Didn't fill out any such survey.
Asked me to answer a few questions to see if I "qualify for a free service".
Asked "Joseph Peters" to send me an email describing his service.
"Joseph Peters" asked for my email address, that he did not have it.
Gotcha, scammer. Of course not, I never filled out a survey.

"Joseph Peters"  ended the call. A call back to 408-622-0813 says press 1 to speak to someone, gets hold music, or 9 to be removed and enter your phone number.

Don't answer any questions from whoever or wherever this person is.
Thanks for providing this forum for documenting likely fraud.

Got call to personal cell phone from man calling himself Joseph Peters from WN Positions.  Said he was responding to my survey request when I made a purchase from Walmart.com.  I said I completed no survey.  Dead air and he hung up.  I called back to inquire.  He said the same thing.  I asked where he was from and he said Orlando Florida.  Beware this caller.  Highly suspicious.  The number he called from was a local number so deceiving.  It was 316-315-6139.

Just received a call from someone claiming to be Joseph Peters. He stated he was with a company called WN Positions based in Orlando, FL. He talked of a job application that I completed with Wal-Mart (NEVER DID ANYTHING OF THE SORT) and that he could match with a job in my area as well assist me with free education. He stated that he wants to see if I qualified to work with WN Positions but quickly hung up the phone after I asked him to tell me more about his company and its location.  The number on my caller id was 615-953-9863. This number is affiliated with a company called Bandwith.com CLEC LLC which is based in Cary, NC. If you call the 800 number below they will ask you if you want to file a complaint and if your were harassed during the call. BOTTOMLINE. THIS IS SCAM. DON"T SHARE ANY PRIVATE INFORMATION. HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Claimed to be in response to an online form I had filled out saying I was looking for a job and wanting to get additional information to pair me with positions in my area.   The only place I had recently checked off I might be interested in career services is with an online course I am taking, so I didn't believe him.  When I explained that I didn't want to give him information without knowing who he is, he reintroduced  himself as "Joseph Peters of WN positions, currently in Orlando" which would match me to jobs at no cost to me.  That being said, 301 is not an Orlando area code!

Just got called.. sounded like dead air at first. Said I filled out some survey online, but wouldn't say which one when I asked him (not that it matters, I'm certain I didn't).

When asked if I'd like to take a survey, I said No thanks, I wouldn't be interested. So he, of course, started to ask me the survey questions. The response of "You don't understand the words 'not interested', do you?" got him to shut up for a few seconds before finally hanging up.

If it weren't a local #, I wouldn't have answered. Sneaky b*****ds.
