Received a phone call from (310) 880-4567.  Did not ring very long.  Caller ID said V11812373200234.

Callers are from a phoney veterans "charity"---don't let them make a sucker of us!!!

All of the calls supposedly came from 301-880-4567. No location, just the numbers listed below. Calls started on January 4th, only one each day. Perhaps these boneheads are religious: There was no call on Sunday.

V10817065500177 called our home phone today (1/8/1014) at 3:08 (Mountain time) in the afternoon. Answered within two rings, and there is NOTHING there -- no background noise -- nothing.

V10714432600177 called yesterday (1/7/2014) at 12:43PM

V10615373000177 called (1/6/2014) at 1:37PM

V010419541700177 called on 1/4/2014 at 5:54PM. Answered within 2 rings: nothing and nobody there.

I don't know if it's some foreign scammer, or someone mobile nearby, generating phone calls to see if the coast is clear so they can break in, or what. If someone's casing the joint, boy will they be disappointed if they break in here. Heh

I keep receiving calls from 301-880-4567.  Yesterday I picked up and answered, "hello," and there were several clicks on the other end, then as I was putting the phone back in the cradle, I heard a man's voice saying something, but it was too late fro a reply.  Then the number phoned back again, twice, later.

It is a nuisance and an interruption, since I am a writer, and a phone call like this breaks up my concentration.

So, I am reporting a complaint.

Also likely connected to the "AMERICAN VETERANS SUPPORT FOUNDATION" calls we were getting in November and December 2013 from **240-920-0671** AND **540-765-2514**.

Got a SECOND SPAM/SCAM call ~less then~ 3 hours later from 703-994-4449.  ALSO a 'Veterans' Association' FAKE CHARITY call.

THERE IS NO SUCH VETERANS' CHARITY by that name.  Verify: www.charitynavigator.org.
I believe these two calls are connected - and that the numbers are spoofed.

Called our home land line; no message left.  Other reports online indicate that this number belongs to an "Edward Kordell" although this number could be spoofed.  Some people report that this is a PHONY "Veterans' Association" charity SCAM call.  Two other reported caller ids of V10222410600227 and V22719093200212.

If there is no name with the number it is likely a SPOOFED NUMBER and A SCAM.

Note: "PRANK" Call = SCAM/FRAUD CALL.

This is a FAKE "Charity" call.

FAKE "Veterans' Charities" are the NUMBER ONE SCAM listed on Charity Navigator's website (site where you can attempt to verify if a charity is REAL or NOT, and what their rating is, in terms of how much of your money goes to the actual 'cause' and how much goes to fundraising expenses and Executives' salaries, etc.).  ALSO listed a the NUMBER ONE SCAM on the FTC's site for 2013-14.

FAKE "Veterans Charities"**** is listed as the NUMBER ONE SCAM this year (2013-14) on Charity Navigator's AND the Federal Government's SCAM lists.

Call from 301-880-4567, caller id states Lexington Pk Md. Claims to be  Americans Veterans Association looking for donations. I believe this to be a scam as well.

i get call from this number every couple of days. They always hand up when answering machine answer, so I feel it is not robocall. if they were calling just to find an active number to sell I feel they would not call so often. Probably spoofed caller id number too.

8:30pm on the east coast on a Saturday, I answered, but nothing was on the other end...bazaar!

Calls and leaves no message. Another scam... Called at 8:45 pm.

Received call today and I hung up right away because I'm always getting strange calls usually from people phishing. You can submit a complaint through www.fcc.gov (the federal communication commission) online and/or leave a message via phone # at their website. Hopefully, they will investigate fraud call number...good luck.

Answered the phone and no one answered.  The next time they call, I will flow my whistle in their ear.

I get so many calls from this area code which are unsolicited I refuse to answer my phone which is really hard on my small home based business which relies on good customer service and promptly returned calls. It's Google that is selling our phone numbers and email information.

I have received calls from this number 4 or 5 times now.  Each time, the caller ID reads V10222410600227.

Each time I answer, I get no response.  This is very annoying.

Call from this number came in as an "Unknown Name" on Caller ID. They gave up after three rings. Research on other web sites points to people calling themselves the "Americans Veterans Association", which doesn't seem to be a real veterans association. Given their furtive Caller ID and what I learned on the web, I'm marking this one down as "scam".

Single call.  Left a tenth of a second message after my short voice mail greeting.  May just be a robot looking for active phone numbers to sell.

Same as previous posts about this number. Four calls in the last week. I don't answer calls I don't recognize figuring if it is legitimate they'll leave a message. This caller doesn't. Caller ID just says "Maryland".

Calls once per day for past 5 days but never leaves a message. Maryland number, and several other variations with similar but not same numbers have been calling too and none of them leave a message.  Sorry i'm not familiar with your area code or number so i'm not answering and it must not have been important if you won't leave a message.  friggin idiots, don't they know if they won't leave a message we know it's unimportant?

Received Call on 12/27 at 7:09 EST. Rang just long enough not to trigger answering service. Caller ID showed V22719093200212.

Unidentified Call, left no message.  Can't say for sure it's a debt collector but same type of pattern as another debt collector's calls.

Two calls from this number. First one quit after three rings. Tried to answer the second (next day - dinner time) to see if I could get an identity but I was too late. No message left just the Maryland on the caller ID .
