Robert Miranda, J. Mayer, Robert Ford are all names used in a scam to commit fraud that is not covered by any financial institution if you do fall for it. Currently tracking SMS user ID #'s on a line from 1110440500 through 1110440603 all attributed to this group using the Delaware number but are likely located in India.

The fraud group will send you a check hand want you to deposit into your account. how the fraud works> This is a bogus check with a false acct/routing number. Notice the check's company logo may not match the address or company on the mailer and also does not have a phone number to contact. The perpetrators will claim the company is just one of their delivery companies. They will want you to "wire" money to a person they call a vendor. So now you got to ask yourself why am I a middle man? why don't they just buy me the supplies? the perpetrators will claim "when you wire the money the vendor will know where to send the supplies," but wait a minute why doesn't the supposed company just send the vendor the address? Well, once you have deposited the check, this gives about 3-5 days before the bank declares and reports the bad check, this is why this type of fraud requires you to send back money or have you send money to a 3rd party before the check clears. Once you deposit a false check, this makes you liable even if you did not know it was a bad check. So, if you send off the money that the check was written for before it clears, you are now liable for that money.

Fraud insurance at any bank does not cover this type of fraud because you assume responsibility for anything deposited.

I have received text messages and a check from Mr. Timothy Miranda. The check is almost 2k and according to him it is meant for me to go and but a computer and software so that I can start a at home data job. i am very concerned that this person is trying to still something. He insisted that I deposit the check into my banking account. He then told me that I would receive a email mail from his supervisor that would tell me what to go buy with the money. i haven't received a email so I haven't done anything with the check.

I got the same text message and was actually in the middle of the conversation on Yahoo messenger when out of the blue they asked for the name of my bank. I immediately exited the conversation, uninstalled messenger and cleaned up my laptop just in case. I was contacted again two weeks later. I ignored the first text message; the next time they texted me I asked where they got my contact information. Timothy Miranda responds saying my resume is posted on resumeengine.org, a site for veterans seeking work (I'm wondering if everyone here is also a veteran). I have gone back and removed my resume from that site and messaged the website admins about it.

I wish I had seen this thread before I started talking to them! Even though the company has a website, believe me it doesn't take much to create a dummy website and fill it with content in a few minutes.

I'm not sure if telling them I'm not interested in the job will get them to stop, but doesn't really make sense to be targeting folks who are out of work and likely have financial troubles as it is. EVIL EVIL EVIL.

A Mr. Timothy Miranda HR for (Accel Transmatic Limited) asked me all sorts of questions, about doing a interview on yahoo messenger I asked to do it over the phone, mind you its 8pm on a Saturday, and he didn't answer my question and was persistent to have me log on yahoo messenger say add his email addy which was Timothymiranda488@yahoo.com. Now any HR will have maybe there name including there work domain, Basically the yahoo messenger interview which I have NEVER heard off Tipped me off then the bogus yahoo email account, I messaged him saying I know he is a scammer, and I haven't received a response back, BOGUS!!! BOGUS!! BOGUS!!!!

Family members say, NO Reputable Company sends Text to future employees,  Would you Trust a company that did? Or want to represent one who did?

I got and instant Yahoo Messenger regarding about a online interview with Mr. Miranda the Company name is "accel transmatic ltd " They have sent out a check I am pretty sure the check is a fraudulent check that I have to deposit and then buy the software I will be needing. They also said they would provide a computer for me to use. I was like well if you are doing all that why not just send everything to me why do I have to call your vendor why do you not just call them your self then send everything to me. well I am going to keep investigating this all they have is my name and address so they could send me a check. I will be calling the bank and see what it is all about and then I will be calling the FBI and report the Fraud. I am sure this is a new way to scam people of their money.

I also received a text saying again, "Mr. Timothy Miranda", only this time the company listed is "(Accel Transmatic Limited)".  And yes, the name was in parenthesis.  However this company does have a website, but the phone number is not from my state, and the qualifications listed on my resume do not match any of the listed jobs.

i also receive the same message. did any of two follow up with the message. Corporate is not in Delaware. Think is solicitors.

I also received a text message. The person claims to be Timothy Miranda, hiring manager of IBM. I am suspicious.

I got a text message from this phone number regarding a job interview form IBM Corporation.  Is this IBM phone number?
