calls my cellphone and says I need to renew my car warranty
wasting my minutes and my time
Nick 2011-06-06 20:44:49 Unknown
I hate these guys. They are a car warranty company. Don't answer the call. They will say that they are removing you from the list, but they won't.

Continually getting harassing phone calls from this number. At work (direct line and main line), at home and on cell phone. My grandmother even gets calls on purchasing an extended warranty! She has had the same phone number for over 50 years and HAS NEVER OWNED A VEHICLE OR DRIVEN???? I pressed "1" to speak to a representative and they ask for the make and model of your vehicle. I told them don't you already have that information since YOU CALLED ME? Then they hang up...
This needs to stop...please help

My auto warranty has been expired for at least 4 years now and I still get the calls. First it was my cell; now my desk phone. Not sure hwo they got it since i didnt have it when I bought the car. Interesting. Same issue, though. Press 2 to remove from list and call drops. 'Final' call has occured at least 5 times.

First of all I work for Auto Solutions and we do not call people about extended warranties. We are a car dealership and do not call random people. There is another place called auto solutions that does the extended warranty crap. So please stop bad mouthing the company that I work for!
Juno 2011-06-06 20:44:49 Unknown
I get this call Monday-Friday for the last month. I don't even own a car and never have. Don't even have a licencse. Stupid people.
PFH1212 2011-06-06 20:44:49 Unknown
I AM THE OWNER OF AUTOSOLUTIONS - A CAR DEALER IN UPSTATE NEW YORK. WE ARE NOT THE ONE'S SOLICITATIONG WARRANTIES. IT IS SOME COMPANY IN PENNSYLVANIA OR VIRGINIA.
I REPEAT, AUTO-SOLUTIONS.COM IS NOT TEH COMPANY SOLICITING WARRANTIES.

i get the same stuff, but i got someone on the phone and cussed him out. he hung up on me. i don't even own a car. im in TX
radishmom 2011-06-06 20:44:49 Unknown
I've gotten the same crap concerning the warranty on my car, allegedly. This same g*dd*mned recording on my cell on the average of 4-5 times a month for the last 6 months! Who knows HOW these scammers get the numbers, the cell carrier and location of the person called seem to be irrelevant.
These SOBs spoof multiple source numbers, too, even different area codes (This is Number #6), but the recording is the same -- "The warranty on your vehicle is about to expire..." That's about the time I hang up. Whatever is going on is a fairly elaborate operation, I dare say, so I dunno that reporting a single # to the FCC will do much good -- they just find another number to spoof.

I just got my first call of the like. It was from the above mentioned number.
I called verizon wireless, and they said currently there is no way to block numbers from calling you. (DAAAAH this is so frustrating). I guess all I can do is just save the number in my phone under the name "F*cking Warranty People" so that the next time they call me I can just hit END immediately.
Z 2011-06-06 20:44:49 Unknown
Call rang two or three times, but they hung up before I could get to the phone (cell phone). I'll save it in my phonebook as SPAM.
I live in south eastern PA.
Thanks!

They called to tell me my baby daddy was creepin
R.J. 2011-06-06 20:44:49 Unknown
I find this rather amusing, seeing as I have not bought a car in 7 years, and when I did, it was a used car.
I got the same recording, "not in service". Whoever said that it sounds bogus is completely right. That's not a real phone company message at all.
And yeah, how the heck did they get my number? I just had it changed, not even a month ago, and I haven't given it out to anyone except close family/friends and work.
Jeff Smith 2011-06-06 20:44:49 Unknown
How many times did they call you so far? I think I got about 5-6 calls with the same experience as above posters
chris 2011-06-06 20:44:49 Unknown

Someone called me from this number.
LooseCannon 2011-06-06 20:44:49 Unknown
this is the third time i received a call from these people regarding extended warrenty. when i started questioning them i.e. - can you tell me what kind of car i drive?, whats my name or who are you? they hang up. The voice had a Middle Eastern accent. I'm contacting the BBB on his a**...thanks for the info above Pete.
DeeKay 2011-06-06 20:44:49 Unknown
I get multiple calls from them, too. Ironically, the recording always says that it is my "second" and "last" notification. What's really strange is that if you stay on the line to talk to a representative, it just drops the call. Same thing if you press the "drop me from the contact list" option. It just immediately disconnects.
My next step is to file a complaint with the "Do Not Call Registry" because this company has no affiliation with any businesses that I have dealt with. They have nothing to do with the company I purchased my vehicle from, and is therefor(supposedly)not allowed to call me.

I just posted above. If it makes any difference I live in Virginia.

I just got a call today from this number. As far as I know this is the first time from this company although I have gotten junk calls before from people. My question is How did they get my cell phone#?
PSM 2011-06-06 20:44:49 Unknown
This company calls me daily (Mon thru Fri) on my cell phone and my home phone.
They need to be stopped. This continuous harassment should not be allowed. Asking them to stop calling has no affect. How do we go about getting them prosecuted or something similar to stop this crap?
jmb 2011-06-06 20:44:49 Unknown
I think someone needs a time out.
Same recorded info about a car warranty when I picked up earlier today.
Caller ID thru Vonage just says Wilmington DE.
Now they called for the 3rd time and left a msg.
PITA!
jma 2011-06-06 20:44:49 Unknown
no message, no valid caller ID, I called back and get a recorded message saying the number is not in service, but sounds like a bogus recording not the phone company
govworker 2011-06-06 20:44:49 Unknown
same number and same recorded message is coming into several lines at a federal agency, so it's not just personal numbers getting called (or "spammed by phone").
Terra 2009-04-30 19:42:04 Unknown
Get call 5-10 times per week.
On call back I got same recording, "not in service". It does not sound like a real phone company message.
Answered one call, person said company is Auto Solutions (www.auto-soultions.com) which sells extended warranties for vehicles. The voice had a Middle Eastern accent. I told seller to quit calling. Still get calls.
Next time seller called I tried to buy the "service" for my car, 1977 Suburban. Caller hung up.
Have three "cold" phone numbers [land & cell]. Dials them all so must be using number generator calling bot.
