These calls come from 3-different numbers.  302-321-6618; 302-497-3200; and 302-401-1025.  Usually it is a man named John that is calling.  Today, June 21 received the call  from 302-401-1025  from a lady that said I "selected" to receive the Life Line.

I have reported this Scam to the Delaware Attorney General's Office.  Their AG agent is supposed to call me back, but has not done so it 2-weeks.  Her name is Susan Draper that is supposed to be handling these cases.  The state of Michigan has already taken action on the Scam, but alas, Delaware is dragging her feet.  Hopefully I will get a call back soon, so I can give them the dates, times and phone numbers the calls have been coming from.  They started in April.

Call the AG's office to report.  302-577-8400 is the number to call to report.

Report this and make a formal complaint to Monica Brown with the Florida Dept of Agriculture (freshfromflorida.com) who are responsible for giving these jerks a license to do business,

Help! I fallen prey to endless scam calls and I can't get off the list!

Ok, I guess these scammers are gonna call me every day. I wonder how their system could ever work if they keep my emergency medical alert phone line tied up so the button can never call 911 when I need them.

Most of my family members are disabled. I rely on my phone being open and available for incoming/outgoing emergencies. It is as stressful as atlas holding the weight of the world, wondering if mom had another stroke or my brother died because he missed his medication.

That was the purpose of being on the DNC list.. So I could use my own phone. You know, the one I am paying for.  If they don't stop, I guess I could get one of those 1-900 phone numbers, so I could at least get paid enough for the ambulance and nursing home fees. Then I will need to hire someone to answer the phone while i am eating, sleeping, and other life essential needs.

I need one of these buttons, that when pressed, will send the callers real ID to the FTC. Also the phone system needs something that verifies incoming phone numbers and rejects spoofed Caller ID #s.

Followup..
I found text of the above mentioned scam listed elsewhere on this site. I will paste a copy here for your benefit.  It is a prerecorded message that pretends to be live.

"Hi, uh, this is John from the shipping department of Emergency Medical Alert, I was calling to uh schedule a delivery of your medical alert system, it's uh the "fallen, and I can't get up" type of system you've seen on TV. Looks like the system's been uh recommended by thousands of hospitals and medical professionals, uh, let's see, says here that the system's already been paid for. Looks like you're getting the system because uh either yourself, a friend, a family member or maybe even someone you know has experienced a fall in the past so uh again it's already been paid for so there's no cost to your whatsoever. Also says here that the shipping has already been paid for so to uh schedule the delivery of your Emergency Medical Alert System press 1 uh again to uh have your system shipped out to you press 1 now...press 5 to decline the shipment of your system.."

It was pointed out, that it is a scam, because they tempt you with free junk just so you will end up paying monthly service fees...most likely crammed on your phone bill.

Final note: I have 2 phone numbers. One on the DNC list, and the other one not on the list. Guess which number gets all the scam calls.  I keep telling everyone here. The DNC list is the scammers personal phonebook. Wanna test my theory?

Put every phone number on the DNC list, of anyone who has anything to do with making laws. See how soon they do something.

A prerecorded message that says I am suppose to receive something for free. This is at least the 3rd time this scam came from this number and a similar message came from 302-321-6618

The calls from this number came on 2013-05-24, 2013-05-29, 2013-06-04

I never pressed any numbers to connect to a live person, but I could guarantee if I did, someone would be asking me to give them a credit card number to confirm I am the intended recipient. Which is a phishing scam..

The following is only an approximation of caller's message.

This is John from shipping to confirm that you will receive an Emergency Medical Alert system has been ordered. It has been paid for and there is no cost to you. Blah, blah, blah..
