It was a recording asking if I wanted to lower my Credit Card Interest rate to 6% and it was my last chance! Seemed to me like a phishing scam? My credit card companys want to suck the life out of and now they want to give us a break ya right!

Got the call at 10:30 this morning.. Didn't answer, don't know anyone in DE

Said I owed money and wanted to lower interest rate. I dont charge anything. They hug up before I could get info.

I got a call on my cell phone at 1:46 pm. When I spoke to the rep I asked to be removed from there list. They quickly hung up. Called back and got a busy signal.

Live in Northern Virginia & received call on my VERY private cell this morning at 9:02 AM.  
No message left, but per other websites reporting on this 302-995-8381 number, this is a phishing scam that just started this morning, November 7, 2013, where the scammers "offer to lower interest rates on your credit cards."  Many people receiving this call have NO credit cards and NO outstanding debt.  

Just hang up, and report the phishing scam to the FTC (info below) so they can stop it.  (NOTE: The Do Not Call registry can do nothing against scammers like this - the scammers just call random numbers and will not honor DNC lists.)

Got a call from this number at 9:09 am EST.  Missed the call and no message left.

I got a call from this number this morning.   I live in Indiana but I have a cousin in Wilmington,  DE.  Was suspicious when her name didn't pop up on caller id.  Glad I checked here before calling back.   Thanks to all who post and help everyone stay informed.

I also just received a phone call on my cell from this number. I didn't answer.  They didn't leave a VM.  

These folks keep calling me. When I press one to speak with someone they indicate they can help me lower my interest rates on my credit cards. As soon as I request to be removed from the calling list they disconnect me.

Apparently you are a victim of not reading what the DNC Registry's is,  why it was created,  and its sole intended purpose was and still is.  Go to the FTC/DNC site and read.

it was a recording asking me to press 1 if i wanted to lower my credit card interest rate or 2 if i didn't want to receive any more calls. they did not identify which credit card company they were with. i reported them to the do not call resgistry...for whatever thats worth. caller i.d. came up: Wilmington, DE.

It is a scam.  The old "Rachel"  lower your interest rates scam.   The Do Not Call Registry has nothing to do with scam callers,  was never intended,  and has no way of stopping them.

Got a call at 9:52 am on my cell phone (on the DNC registry).  Did not answer. They did not leave a voice mail.
I thought the DNC registry was supposed to help us. It does not.

Just got a call from this number. Since I did not recognize it I let it go to voicemail. No message was left. I tried calling the number back but got a busy signal. Hate those kind of calls. They call me but block any call to them.

Same here i didnt answer the phone on the caller id it said state something it went to voice mail and no message was left.

Called on my Cell phone about lowering credit card interest.  When I asked for the Company name they hung up.

Just got a call from this number, I answered, there was a recording, saying since you pay your credit card on time, contact us, so we can lower your interest rate,,,,,,,,,,When the rep came to the phone, ahs asked me if I owed a total of meore then $3000.00 and I said no? she said, oh ok ty, and hung up...VERY STRANGE...

Got call this morning saying you could lower your interest rate on your credit card.  A guy started saying - you pay your bills on time etc. then he said you have 3500 due and I said NO and he hung up on me. Do not give them any information!

Credit card company that claims to be able to lower your rates to 6%.

Got this call at 9:23a in eastern time i like most of you do not have credit cards and am not needing help lowering any intrest rates!  Frustrating because i only have so many minutes and they just waisted two of mine!!!
