They have been calling us here in NJ for two years!  They want money from my son who hasn't spoken to me in two years because I finally refused to give him any more money. I have explained this to them for two years and they still call every day!!   I have had it with the harassment and I'm going to file siut against them.

They called 3 times, no voicemail. And when I called back, it just said Wakefield&Associates, how may I help you? And I hung up.

Called and took a better-than-thou attitude and threatened to tell the credit bureau to begin ruining my credit. Told them i was unaware of the debt, but that i would pay the original creditor the next day, which i just did.  Whats sad, this was for $25.  I was harrased for $25 . The caller seemed like a street thug.

I remember these jerks. I went to the Aurora CO Medical Center a long time ago for an emergency. They racked up many thousands of dollars of charges on me even tho I was only there for about 4 hours. I did not have insurance at the time. After I ignored the hospital bills which I had no chance of ever paying, these jerks appeared. I told them where to go and they sued me. So that made me decide to file bankruptcy since I was already struggling with many other debts. When I told their atty that I was filing bankruptcy he became very upset and said I was making a big mistake. WRONG! It was the best decision I ever made! I erased all my debts and have rebuilt my credit and now have almost no debt. Dont listen to these jerks, do what is best for you and use the law to make them prove whatever debt they claim to be collecting (must be made in writing... see Budhibbs.com for more). The pervasiveness of greed in our society sickens me but there are ways to kill the vultures.

I did receive a call from them too. I did have a debt, but when I contacted the people I owed money, they said they had never used a collection agency and did not understand why they were contacting me. After reading this, I wonder if they had someone stealing files and passing it to them. They asked me again for my name, aren't they a collection agency? The story is too fishy. I had to go to Ripoff Report to figure out what was going on with them. After paying my debt directly to the people I owed money to, they kept calling. The woman was very rude to me. She had called once every month for the last 3 months and every time she keeps telling me I have to call her back with my credit card information or else.  What's going on? Some things does not seem to fit the whole picture.   They also use this phone numbers 1-303-537-2900, 1-800-864-3870

They call us about once per week.  Caller ID identifies them as OUT OF AREA.  When we say hello, it just hangs up on us.  There is a post that this is a collection agency.  We don't have any debt.

They call me once in a while, but everytime they do I answer, then they hang up on me.  Guess I need to block this number too, they're looking for my ex who's been gone 3 years and I've told them this REPEATEDLY.  Must be a bunch of really bright bulbs there @ wakefied & a***s!
