We've received the same calls for a few years from all different numbers, all shoqw SMS on coller ID.  Now when I see the caller ID, I pick up the receiver and replace teh receiver in the cradle.  They don't even get to speak to a human.

A guy called asking to speak to Bob (he is the owner). I told him Bob was not here.
He said "oh shoot, could I have his cell phone number again"? I asked what his name was and he said Dave Taylor from SMS. I said are you the company that does the analysis he said yes, I told him Bob does not want to speak to him. On Monday someone from this company stopped by and wanted to speak to the owner, just happened to be in the neighborhood. I found out he was from SMS. I told him about the rude, obnoxious, condescending woman who called from his company. (see notes from other phone number). I told him that is no way to run a business. He said she must be from the call center. He swore he wasn't like her. I said I do make the the decisions on who speaks to him & who doesn't.
He was also being secretive about what his company does. He finally told me the do business analysis. I told him we do not need our business analyzed. He told me everybody needs their business analyzed. I tried to say he just need 5 mins of the owners time. I said NO! You will not get an appt. He left his business card. Bob threw it in the trash after I told him the whole story.

A piece of human sh*t named Mark Thompson calls from 303-552-0075. He's a scum bucket, coc*suc* who can't earn a real living so he's stooped to the level of steal from his fellow Americans.

I hope to meet him face to face so I can pound him into the ground.

TELEMARKETERS ARE ALL FILTH !

Wow how persistent....within less than 5 minutes I received a call this time from a woman. Told her to loose name and number and hung up. Then in less than a minute received another call. I am now going to report them to the police for harassment.......

They keep calling asking for the owner by name and wanting to know when he will be back in the office. I am also an owner and hate these type of phone calls. This time it was under the pretense of mergers and acquisitions.  I told them that we are not interested and to loose our name and number and he said he was told to call back. He said his name is Kenny Fisher and the owner had all his information. Same listing as others SMS.

They ask for an owner, I ask what this is pertaining to, as it depends on what and which owner and the owners don't want to be bothered with nonsense. He really didn't know what he was "selling", kept telling me I didn't understand what he was calling about, told him he didn't understand as he hasn't answered my question, he kept laughing at me repeating that I didn't understand.  Told him we are not interested and hung up.  Why do shady people have to waste good folks time?  Per the previous posts, we will hang up on them from here on out.

Calls repeatedly and claims to be calling on behalf of a Michael Hess's office. Refuses to deal with anyone other than the owner of the business, repeatedly ignores request to stop calling and pretends that our previous conversations never took place. When asked what our business does, he responded "works with security" which has absolutely NOTHING to do with our company. Scam telemarkerter, make it stop!

I just press buttons in their ear whenever they call.  They might keep calling, but it brightens my day just a bit each time.  I think they'll get the hint.

Pickup up the phone and lay it on your desk. Don't say anything, they have stopped calling, at least for awhile.

I've tried being calm and I've tried yelling...they still just call and act like we never told them not too.

I'm a small business owner, and I don't have time to deal with these "yahoos".    If they are truly legitimate they shouldn't have to repeatedly call on people who have told them not too.  If they are truly legitimate people should be beating down there doors...not the other way around.

They just called again. I set up an appointment for tomorrow morning. Going to show them this list and see what he has to say.

Same thing, call three times a week. Asked to talk to the manager and gave him a piece of my mind. He said quit yelling. I asked their address and they said 2060 33rd Street, Boulder. I believe it is a the call center around the corner from me. The employees walk through my parking lot. Next time I'm going to agree to meet with them and then show them this blog. If we ALL meet with them it will take up all there time.

These people call frequently and ask for one of two owners.  Neither of which are usually here.  The caller tries to send someone in to drop of literature.  I have told them not to call but they continue to do so.  I used to just hang up on them, but since that didn't work I answer the phone just as polite as can be and then agree to get the owner...then I put them on hold until they hang up.
Recently they sent someone in to "drop off literature" but the person wanted to wait for the owner.  These people are the same is GPS as mentioned above and also the same as IPA.  First they were IPA, then GPS now SMS.  Seriously, if you run a legitimate business you should be proud of your name and it should mean something, you shouldn't have to run from it and change it every few months. BEWARE OF IPA, GPS, SMS or whatever initials they come up with next!

Had several calls over the past two weeks.  Pushy salesman trying to set an appointment for his boss.. Said they we're in the area and just wanted to drop off some material.  I told them I wouldn't be in bjut they showed up anyway.  A guy who said his name was Mark Wagner with GPS, left a card and said he would be back around 3:30.
At 2:45 he showed up and my secretary told me she saw his car pull up, so I called an emergency meeting with one of my staff.  He left, when he was told I was in a meeting.  
The following week, another member from SMS call and ask a bunch of invasive questions, when I told him I didn't want to meet with them, he hung up.

I got James from Greeley as well. First time he was with SMS then the second time Edeth somethings office. He also called before telling me the ownder was working with him on a Bid and wanted his cell. I ask what job he said EJS. (weird more initials)told him the owner wasn't working on any such bid, and I know what jobs he bids on.(which are none) He asked how do I know what jobs he works on.ended up hanging up in me.

It has been a week of them calling sometimes they use other names. Micheal Hess's office is the latest. They claim they have work for you though they don't know what. They have been harassing me for days. SMS is BS! Who would want to work with a company that is so awful!

Got a call from this number this morning claiming to be James from Greeley and he wanted to talk to the owner and when I said he was unavailable, he asked for a cell phone number which I do not give out usually. He then asked for about 3 other people within our company and their cell phone numbers. He said he had a bid to drop off but wouldn't tell me which project it was for. Anyone have any suggestions besides just telling the person to take us off their list?

I get calls from this number several times a week for the last few weeks asking for the owner of the company - I usually don't transfer cold calls to the owner without knowing what the purpose is.  My caller ID also shows SMS - however they will not talk to me.  I have received up to 3 calls from them consecutively - I've asked them to please take us off of their list.  They will then call me repeatedly and hang up.  Just got another call this morning - told them he is on vacation (which he is).  Another one of those creeps called right afterwards.  How do you stop this?  Very annoying!!!!

A rude woman just called said the company was GPS and wanted to speak with the owner and acted like she knew him.  I asked more info to see what they were interested in speaking to the owner about and she could not give me a straight answer.  I told her I could get someone and after a few min she just hung up.  Gotta love those calls?

Same thing... aggressively calling every day with the "hey, how ya doin'" line. Asked not to call, keeps on calling.

Caller ID shows SMS. Caller said his boss wanted to schedule a meeting with the owner claiming they were SMS, a business networking company that just opened in Colorado. We've received several calls from this company and asked to be removed from their list. Caller said we couldn't have received calls as they just got their number. Told him the owner has declined to meet with them and to stop calling. Did an online search and could not find SMS listed as a business - must be another telemarketing scam.
