I'm sick and tired of these collection calls bugging the hell out of me. If they do not stop I'm going to fill a law suit
Carla 2011-06-06 20:44:58 Unknown
Well I did a little research and found that the CEO of First Assurance is Sid Pinhas and I was able to find him on facebook. I sent him a message advising that if the calls persist that we will file suit against him personally because I believe that he knows how abusive his employees are even when they have the incorrect information.
A real collection agency would call and identify themselves and ask for the person they are seeking but they are not doing that. Their mistake with me is that I have worked collections and I know the rules and I will not hesitate to sue their a**es.

This company calls and never leaves a message. The caller ID misrepresents who they really are- they are 1st Revenue Assurance, a collection agency in Denver CO- the caller ID identifies them as 1st Revenue INSURANCE- must be a law about that!
Soul 2011-06-06 20:44:58 Unknown

They have called our business from this number several times. They do not leave a message and if you pick up the phone all you get is silence, and then a hang-up.

Cassie in Virginia 2011-06-06 20:44:58 Unknown
I keep getting calls from them on my cell as well (which is registered under the Do Not Call List) so I finally called them back. They were looking for someone who lived in the house I now live in that hasn't lived here in over 5 years!! I told them that it is ridiculous they could even connect my cell number to their name and they need to correct that issue right away. I told them if I received another call from them again, they would be hearing from my attorney.

These "people" have called our house, packed with dubiously attained information about myself, and claiming to have a debt from a store that I have not only never stepped foot in (or shopped with otherwise), but that as far as I can tell, doesn't even exist! Paul, the fella who we've dealt with, was hostile, raised his voice within the first few words, when I innocently asked him what the phone call was regarding, and what "Sixteen Plus" was (the supposed store that I've run up credit with and not paid). I won't take the time to go into all of the ways that Paul was awful to me, but suffice it to say, he made a pretty stoic chick cry like a baby. In further conversations with my husband, Paul was rude, horribly ignorant, screamed, and fell into several various "trip ups" that my husband set up for him, to check if any of this could possibly be legit (such as not even knowing which state he was supposed to be working in, according to the number he was calling from). Paul could not/would not give us any contact info for the store in question. He hung up on my husband twice after saying something like "I don't have TIME to deal with you!!" This, after hubby merely asked logical, politely voiced questions regarding the whole thing. Everything about this reads scam. We have reported them to the Texas Attorney General, the BBB, and sent them a certified letter disputing the supposed debt so that, by law, they have to fork over copies of the bills in question, or never contact us again and wipe the debt. They are not supposed to be calling and harassing in that period, yet I just got a call on my caller ID from them a moment ago. Please, if you hear from these people, assume that it's fraud, and don't give them -any- of your personal information. I have a feeling that they purchased some of mine from somewhere. They know at least the last four digits of my social, and my current married name, yet they only knew a mailing address I haven't had in like nine or ten years. Everything they've done has holes in it, and screams scam. Contact the correct authorities, and protect yourself. We might have to change our number. =/

I've been getting calls from this number for six months, and they will not quit. They always leave a voicemail asking for me to contact a 1800 number.
Very annoying

collection agency that keeps calling back after I told them they are calling wrong person, the guy that calls is rude and will not stop calling.....
Mr. X 2011-06-06 20:44:58 Unknown
These calls come from First Revenue Assurance, LLC, 4500 Cherry Creek Drive, South, 3rd Floor, Denver, CO 80246. One of the owners is a Kevin Boylan. This rude collection agency leave an 800 number for a call back , The call back number is 877-407-4764. They are calling me about an alleged debt I have with Cingular in which I requested certain wireless phone plan, but their clerk enrolled me in the right plan but took away my free nights and weekends. Their error, but now AT&T wants me to pay $650.00 for the night and weekend calls that were supposed to be free. I have disputed the bill and I have sent certified mail to the prior collection agencies. I am sending another certified mail to this agency. If they keep on calling me after they receive the letter I'll file complaints with the FTC.

I have no clue why these people are calling me. I have nothing overdue. They might be legit on the surface, but that doesn't mean all their activities are.
stopcallingme 2011-06-06 20:44:58 Unknown
These people have no lives, they are calling cell #'s which is illegal. Only in America!
Meg 2011-06-06 20:44:58 Unknown
They call my phone a few times a day. I even answered it once and it is the same message if you let your voicemail pick up. I am so tired of these weird numbers calling my cell and my house! It's really getting out of hand.

Silent phone call, so I hung up.
Called the # back and after making the receptionist repeat herself twice so I could understand her, got "First Revenue". Her name was Michelle & they were recording the call.
Looked online to see these reports. I don't owe anyone money, so I'm pissed they call my cell phone.
Filed the usual DONOTCALL.GOV complaint.
Jack 2011-06-06 20:44:58 Unknown
I have told these idiots to stop calling me many times and yet they still call me asking for a person I don't even know. I have had my phone number for 25 years. It is time to lean on the phone company and put an end to this nonsense.
