SCAM.... telemarketer claiming to collect donations on behalf of police and / or firefighters. caller was insulted that I requested to verify that his organization is authorized by IRS to receive tax-deductible donations and hung up. reverse phone look up shows: Nobel, Jeff 420 S Marion Pkwy, Denver, CO; 303-765-5199.

Just called 10 minutes ago and said was from Colorado firefighters association and was looking for me to commit to a donation for them. When I was very leery about it he was very pushy and rattled off information that I could verify but didn't want to let me verify anything before giving my credit card number.....beware! Lots OS scanners right now with all of the wildfires going on.
