its collection agencies trying to get info

Out of the blue we started getting calls on our cell phone. In the first couple of days we've had several calls.

Got a call on my cell asking for "Raymond" (not me). Caller identified himself as "Nick" and was well-spoken and polite. "Nick"  American, no regional accent. He would not say who/where he was or why he was calling. Said he would remove my number from their list. Hopefully, an innocent error and all over.

I live in El Paso , Texas...and have received phone calls from this number..(303 922-9710) It is annoying.
I don't answer calls from unknown numbers , so, you think they'd get the hint by now..

RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER, STATING IT WAS REGARDING PATERNITY.  THERE IS NO PATERNITY TESTS OUT FOR MY SPOUSE.  HE WOULD NOT STATE ANYTHING FURTHER. CALL THE NUMBER BACK AND IT RINGS OR IS BUSY.  NO ANSWERING MACHINE

Could be someone spoofing the number. Per WhitePages.com, it belongs to a married couple.

Number keeps calling every day.

After numerous persistant and repeated calls from "PROMO READERS 303-922-9710" I continue to file complaints with the do not call registry (donotcall.gov) and "PROMO READERS 303-922-9710" continues to be a nuisance and continues to harass me.  No wonder they say, "So what." when you tell them you're on the do not call registry and when you tell them you're going to file a complaint no wonder they say, "Good luck with that."  I am exhausted.  The only thing I can think of is to continue to report them.  I've also thought of reporting them to my local law enforcement and the Denver, CO police department:

They just called about some magazine subscription BS...I have no idea wtf it was about. It was really strange.

I have received two phone calls from this number.  I didn't answer the first one, but tried to trace the number and was unsuccessful.  The second time I answered the call and it was a woman telling me about magazine subscriptions.  When I told her I don't order any magazines, she hung up.   Buttheads
