Strange, because I did not call in a power outage, if I did I would have used my landline (a number they have), and we did not have a power outage.  Also I have had this cell number for many years, so couldn't have been someone else's old number.

Allegheny Power company uses an automated system to call customers and check if power has been restored - the calls come from this number.

Automated follow-up call after reporting power outage. Didn't answer (dropped call), but I reported the outage this morning.

Assuming this is allegheny power since i have been out of power for 4 days due to a storm.  called me twice.  i did not answer.  when i call back, i am told the number is disconnected or no longer in service...

If you call into Allegheny Power and report and outage and then have them give you a wake up call you will be called by the system from this number.
