Got a call from this low life piece of $hit on mothers day. Same story. They would not let me hang up or they would kill my nephew. I hung up and called the cops. They said it was a scam and they could do nothing about it. Called my cell phone company and they told me the phone call originated from harrisburg,  pa. Beware these low lifes are not in miami florda. They just use numbers from miami. Called the police in harrisburg pa and they advised they are aware of it. What a piece of garbage. DONT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!!!

Got a call saying a family member was in a car accident and we needed to send some money to him since the accident wasn't his fault and my 'relative' asked not to call police.  Hispanic sounding male couldn't provide name of my 'relative' or a physical description.  Couldn't describe the car.  He must have spent 3-4 minutes trying to convince us, we called him a scammer and he still persisted.  Finally hung up.

I got call from a spanish speaking guy, I told him that I don't speak spanish...So another guy got on the phone and said that we have your brother and we are going to kill him you need to give us 2,000..
I told them to kill who ever you have because my brother is in prison you mutherfuckers and find you someone else to play with...

The parasites behind this scam started with the who's this and when I wouldn't tell them they proceeded to tell me my son had been in a terrible accident. When I asked them for my son's name they couldn't say because all my "son" was able to provide them with was my phone number. After I told them my son didn't drive they said it was my brother when I told them sorry don't have a brother they got irrate. I told them to go screw themselves. Miami PD will not do anything because it's too expensive to track the perps and too difficult to prosecute if they do.  Just warn all your friends and family about the scam so that they don't get unexpectedly taken.

Samething happened to me yesterday. I have two children and they called one of them that the other one was in a terrible accident. This should be stopped immediately.

Same thing here! I called the Miami Dade Police and they said that this was a scam and told me not to worry about it! They said that it was a clone number and that they could not do anything about it. I told them that it was b***s*** because i redialed the number and I got the same Puerto Rican...If I can get in touch with the f***er how can the cops not be able to do anything about it?

It is incredible that we have such a sorry a** police department that allows people like this to get away with stuff like this.

In latin countries this happens a lot and this is called "Secuestro Express" (Express Kidnapping) they say they have your family and if you don't wire money, they kill your family.

This happened to me too. These guys have the same number for the past couple of months if u google two puerto rican guys scamming for money it shows the last number they had. Yet police don't do anything about it. I guess someone needs to be killed so they go after the case. I'm so disappointed at our system.

Received a similar call today about my son who is not even here in FL. Same MO. Beware!!

I got a call from this number stating my son was in a terrible car accident and they where a gang and where going to kill him i told them my son is not even in the states they said its your brother than i said whats his name they said foreget it we are just going to kill him. i called my son he is fine this is a gang trying to get you to pay some money scammers this is a TERRRIBLE JOKE I REPORTED THE NUMBER TO THE POLICE IHOPE THEY CATCH THESE JERKS!!!!!!!!!
