call received at 10:32 am on 10/22/2008.  I answered noone was there.

Call came into cell phone - vague - "you recently applied for a position at a company whose name wishes to be anonymous", or something to that fact.

They asked me to call them back while sitting at a computer that had internet access.  I have not called, nor do I intend to.

You should call from a payphone and say: "I am the recent applicant to your mysterious company but I wish to remain anonymous. Do I have the job?"

That should be good for a laugh.

I called back this number and got a message stating that the number was disconnected or was no longer in service. Even though the call I had received was the day before.

I think this maybe legit.  Company is called Employement Select, they said they were were a third part application verification.  They just verified my information, Name, Address, phone #'s, and education level.  They said I had applied for a Technical Team Leader position, and they would be getting back with me in a couple of days.  I did get all circuits busy the first time I called back, but got thru on the next call.

I did go back and find where I'd applied for a Tech Team Leader thru Sparkle Carreers, Career Network in Orlando FL.  Lets see what comes of it..

I received a call from this number, when I tried to search it, it came up as unpublished/unlisted, this makes me leary about who's trying to call.  I'm also skeptical about getting a call at 7:04pm, even if they are legit, I don't know of too many companies that will call at that time of night to ask about employing me. Coincidentally, 20 minutes later, I received a call from an 866 #, of which I can't find who it is online.  I did see a few comments saying that the toll free # is a telemarketer, but I still don't know who.  I don't believe 2 calls from unknown callers in less than 30 minutes is coincidental.

I have applied for a job thru an onlie site I think it is the Orlando based company  doing headhunting for jobs.

The lone legit post on here is cut and pasted onto 4 other phone number complaint sites in full. looks like we have a mole.

well some one keeps calling me from this number and everytime i try to call it back it says "all circuits are busy now" over and over so um i haven't applied for a job anywher in over 2 months i think i'm not going to call them back anymore

I just rec'd a call at 12:30 p.m. from 305-749-0844.  I answered, said "hello" twice but there was no response.  I hung up.

I rec'd a call from 305-749-0844 at 4:00pm EST today 11/19 - The caller ID was Voxbone / Miami. I didn't answer as I was on the other line and I won't put someone on hold to answer an unknown caller! I have a resume' posted on Career Network but have removed it since reading the above posts.

I missed a call from this number and called back at a later time.  I was on hold for a few minutes, but spoke to someone who wanted to verify my application for a bank teller position that I applied for  They didn't ask for any personal info.  They said I should hear from the hiring manager in a few days.  It took a week for the hiring manager to call me, but I go on a second interview next week!

OK So several people get calls from this ??? Is it a company? Does anyone know or want to stop this?
