I got a text from phone number 309-679-7642 with the following message: FIRST REGIONAL BANK ALERT: Your CARD has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at 415-366-7046.
This is total Spam!!

had a call from this number,
MASTERCARD ALERT: Your CARD starting with 5110 has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at 701-696-7365.
First I don't have a card that starts with that number
second no company ever uses the starting numbers they use the ending numbers
Third called MasterCard they say this has nothing to deal with them (either of the numbers)
fourth I'm adding them to my block list

Just rec'd text with same info... My mother who has one of my old cell phone #'s rec'd text as well. Gladly she did not respond and called me 1st. Googled # and read posts.. Sneaky scammers....

Comes in a tex stating that your master card starting with 5110 has been deactivated. Please contact us at 701-6967365. Another message stating the same came into my wife's phone from yet another number of 309-679-7642. The contact number is a small town in which i know very well. Master card has nothing to do with it. This is a scam so please do not reply or call the contact number. Another number they used is 919-607-9249 which came on my phone
