this is super annoying, this number keeps calling and they never answer when you call them back. I dont know how or where they got my number from but i wish I could tell them to f-off and stop calling me! makes me want to change my number ughhh

Had the same number call me a minute ago some lady , I ask who she was she said publisher and hang up

Caller asked for my mother.  I inquired as to who he was with, and he said he was some sort of publisher.  I asked again to verify and he simply hung up.  I called the number back, someone picked up the phone and hung it back up.  I tried calling again and its busy now.

So this number called my wife said that we had been selected to be entered into a sweepstakes, talking about beign abble to win a truck, or other cash prices. All she needed to do is subscribe to her choice of five or six different magazines for some monthly payment. Well she accepted the terms and when the first monthly payment came in on my statement i was surprised to find out what she had done. I called the company and spoke to the costumer service rep, she told me that my beautiful and wonderful wife had agreed to pay the full amount of the cost of all subscriptions over the next two years, she had been recorded swearing to meet these demands, which over the phone is the equivalent of signing a contract. but on the bright side i do have a 4 yr subscription to espn at a very low price. Also I have a bunch of useless women magazines to start the chimney.

I keep getting blocked and unlisted calls from VIP Readers Service. I have been on the National Do Not Call List since 2001 and rarely get these kinds of calls. But these people refuse to stop calling. They are totally uncooperative when you ask to speak to a supervisor or for a call back number or name of parent company. I finally spoke to supervisor Shelly Betarie or Vetarie who was purposefully useless. But at least now she knows that I am on the Do Not Call List because I do not want to be called -- particularly by scam companies. Complain to this company, file a complaint with FCC/FTC at www.donotcall.gov, and file. Stop harassing unsolicited calls. Stop them.

so I keep getting a call from 310-214-9858. after reading this i see its either debt collectors or telemarketers.  care to tell me what kind of debt I could possibly be in? I'm a full time student that just turned 18.

This number keeps callin me none stop said that my bank entered me in a sweepstakes and i am getting free stuff. They knew m y name and all my previous old addresses. I thought something was up but wasnt entirely sure until they called a second time and wanted a cc# for a down payment on something. I told them i didnt have any money and i wouldnt get paid till next week. Sure enough they have been call my phone all day long atleast 20 times now. This needs to stop.

Is there such a thing as protesting against useless people making a living annoying everyone else and sometimes cheating them out of money?

This number calls me about once a day sometimes around 11pm EST. I always ask, who are you, and what do you want they immediately hang up the phone. This is harassment and needs to be stopped. If I setup several computer systems to call there phone line none stop this would be illegal right? But them calling me every day on a business phone isn't????????? The Number is from Redondo California. Can anyone help further in tracking them down.

i received a call 2day from this lady by the name brie who was telling dat i have been selected on one of the sweepstates and a chance 2 win 25000 in cash and also dat i had won a free gold watch and a year supply of six magazine for free.

Just got a call from 1-310-214-9858 claiming to be a publishing company. I was also told, like the folks above, that my bank and/or credit card company had entered my information for some drawing for $25,000 or a car. Since neither my bank nor credit card company have the number that was called (personal cell phone), I highly doubt that's where they got it. They did know my address though, and as she started to read it to "verify" it I told her I wasn't interested and she hung up.

This number has called twice in the last week to tell me that my bank entered me into some sort of sweepstakes. The first lady I simply told I was not interested at all and she hung up on me. When they just called tonight I tried to tell the lady to move me off of her list and stop.....yep you guessed it she hung up on me!!!!! AHHHHH these people make me soooo mad

so I live in Indiana & I'm getting these ridiculous phone calls from California as well. I have no idea how they got my number, but its really annoying. I get one/two calls a WEEK from these M Fers. They've also tried to call me from 310 370 9794. I wish there was something we could do.

I have received two calls from 1-310-214-9858 in the last two weeks.  Have kept my cell phone number private except for what I thought was trusted individuals.  When I answer these calls there is no one on the other end.  'fight back' says he/she knows who the caller is. Please post it so we all can fight fire with fire and see that she is annoyed and harrassed as we are.

The 888-369-7323 belongs to magazine service Center. apparently, it was difficult to call from here, but with help I got to them. They said that sales agent are usually given that information from banks and other people who advertized informercials.I am still concerned about my information being passed on so casually.

2 persons called my home on the same day.  they knew my name.  They said they were from some sort of publishing company and that my credit card bank had entered my name into some sweepstake contest and just for entering I'd be given a free wrist watch and 48 month supply of 7 magazines.  I was given an 888-369-7323 number to call but that is an invalid number and they are not answering the 1-310-214-9858 or 1-310-370-9591. Obviously they are crooks.

Received yet another in the long line of these stupid calls....and it's a bit ridiculous that they are calling a Dallas number no less.  they never leave a message and when called back, they hang up.  Wish there was something to do about this...the do not call list is obviously NOT working to the extent the feds had hoped.

I used Intellius to find my annoying callers home address and posted it.  I think since she is using my info to annoy me then her info is fair game too.
I also think the DO NOT CALL list is where these businesses are getting valid telephone numbers.

Caller knew me by name. mentioned something about a clearinghouse before I just hung up on him.
