I got a call from this number regarding leasing office space from us. He said he was working from home and now wants to get an office space to work from. Said he would stop by today.........Hmmmmmmmm! Very Strange!

I got a call from this number also regarding business that Mattel would not be involved in. I believe that the phone number caller ID can be "spoofed". Even though it says the phone # for Mattel, the people calling are coming from somewhere else.

Apparently Mattel Inc. (the toy maker) may also be in the commercial real estate business. The phone number and address on Mattel's corporate website matches that listed for Mattel Realty Corp. shown on www.manta.com as posted by "Emmy" above, and matches various other listings on the internet for a Mattel real estate business. To complicate things further, there is also a Matel Realtors (spelled with one 't') in Modesto, California and at least one other unrelated Matel real estate in New York.
Who knew? Then again, Mattel Inc. owns many other businesses such as Fisher-Price and may have branched out. I only found it odd that the caller ID for the call I received from this company only showed the phone number, not a name.

It is the toy company. My daughter works there and that's the central number. Unless, of course, she's really working as a realtor.

It's not the Toy Company. It's Mattel realty http://www.manta.com/coms2/dnbcompany_0h5f9c. They have called me several times over the past few years. These calls are rather annoying. They usually ask for me. One time they asked if "insert my name here, your mommy is home?" I told them politely that I was she, and I had no business with them. Today, they called for someone else. The Call Came in as restricted, and I wouldn't have answered, except that my father's phone does the same so I thought it was him. I heard shuffling, and muffled voices, something that sounded like a *Tread mill* I could here the actual machine and the sound of his feet, then he picked up, the noises continued, and he asked for another woman. I said that he had the wrong number, and he spelled out her name. I assured him, no one with that name had ever used this phone and he checked my number to be sure. I hung up after telling him again, he had the wrong number.
This is really annoying. I'm not sure why they would have both my name and someone elses and call for us both at the same number....But oh well. I have no interest in non residential properties.
