WATCH OUT FOR THIS ONE. PROBABLE SCAM.
Got a call to my cell phone from this number. Recorded message said something about a bank (couldn't hear the name) and my account/ATM card were deactivated due to suspicious activity. I was supposed to press '1' to talk to a representative but I didn't and hung up. Used my ATM card not long after that with no problem. Thing is, my bank doesn't have my cell phone number!

This is obviously a criminal.

WHY ISN'T THERE AN EASY WAY TO REPORT THESE INCIDENTS TO AUTHORITIES SO THESE PEOPLE CAN BE BROUGHT TO JUSTICE??

got one not five minutes ago from same number, and same the same recording, telling me my card has been deactivated, press one to have it reactivated.

At this point I hung up, they called on my cell phone, so am a bit ticked about it.
I do register all my phones on the do not call government registry...

Just got the same thing.  I pressed 1 and then it said to press 1 again to reactivate.  Hung-up and dialed the 310 number back.  Got a generic recording that said ext. 7000 was not avialable and to leave a message.  Definitely some sort of scam

Missed a call from this number, calling back results in "this extension cannot be reached" message.
I have also received recent phone calls from an automated voice on a restricted number claiming to be Yakima Valley Credit Union, with whom I do no banking. The voice states that fraudulent charges on my credit card have been detected and that my bank account information is required to investigate. Obviously a scam.

This bunch is definitely working a scam of some sort.  I was asked by an automated message to punch a number that would transfer me to a "Security" person who could fix a problem with my ATM account.

I did not press the number, but I assume at some point I would have been asked for account information that could have compromised my credit.

Residents of this area recently were subject to a swarm of such calls.

This is more than a nuisance but probably an illegal operation.

We received a call from this number today telling us our atm card was frozen, press 1 to get security to fix the problem. When I called the number back, it was a voicemail asking for a phone number to return the call. I called our bank and said we were fine. I then called the police!

i just received this mysterious phone call myself.  very difficult to understand - the computerized voice has very bad annunciation.

i only have one spending card - i don't have a bunch of credit cards, store cards, and such.  just one!  but i use a security card for work.  so this had me concerned and confused... thing is, since my spending card is a bank card, i know any message from my bank would have indicated itself very clearly.  also, our office doesn't alert us by email about our security cards.  we'd find out at the security desk when we pass in the morning.  i know, because i've had to renew my card before.

so this clearly had nothing to do with me!
i was never asked for my card number or anything.  just press 1 to continue, 2 to leave.  no option for operator.
