In going through my caller ID logs, I saw that this number gave me a hangup call on April 4 at 10:13 am.
Clearly incorrect caller ID info, as the company name certainly isn't "California" LOL!

2nd unknown caller today in the last 1/2 hr.  No message.

Got this number blocked now, but they've tried to call back a couple times.

Got call. Didn't pick up. No message.

The person said he was calling to notify of a govt rebate program. Wanted me to verify my home address.

Beware....scam.give the scum enough time,and rope....they are going to hang them selfs....the feds. Just might   rattle thier cage real soon.

This jerk calls me 3 times a week.. then disconnects.. who the hell is this.

Same thing.  I hope everyone here is also reporting these morons - it's the only way to get any action.

Called and told my husband they were the estimator that was coming out that day. He handed me the phone but we were disconnected.

Better than tying up their phone, make an appointment. Let one of their droids drive out to give you an "estmate." Nobody says you have to open the door.

If enough people did this, their business model would collapse.

Caller ID said "California."   This number has called before.   So I turned off the TV sound so the room was absoulutely silent and picked up the phone.  The line was dead but a human finally can on line and said something like "How are you, today."  I remained silent and waited.   Time went by till finally the caller hung up.  I figure if they can waste my time with their calls, I can waste their time, too.   Maybe if we all did something like this, callers would be discouraged.

Called again.  BLEEPERS.

Called again BLEEPING CRIMINALS!

Some one called and wanted to set appointment to do house repairs. He acted as if I had called him.
He listed many services from crack repair to painting.

Just realized they called yesterday evening when we were all out.  HMMM.

Called this morning.  Spoofed call.

Still calling!!!!!!!!!!!

ID says "CALIFORNIA", went to voice mail and only heard noise like from an empty warehouse.

Also have had several calls from this number, listed as California, and is supposedly disconnected.

Likely it's Triangle.  They push home improvement sales under a variety of phony names.  Their favorite stunt is to call up and note that they have a contractor working in the area already.  There's never anything on caller ID for these guys: it'll either say "California" or it will say nothing.

Getting multiple calls from this number in Santa Monica, but when I call it back it says the number is not in service.

they call and when I answer there's no response. I called the number back and the recording said I'd reached a number that was disconnected. How can a disconnected number call me in the first place???

Wanted to know if we needed any painting done.

I called right back as I was outside when the phone rang and guess what?  A recording came on to say "the number is disconnected or no longer in service."

CallerID is spoofed - add number to your blacklist.  CallerID says "California"
