i called the number back and the guy i talked to said that it was a federal investigation company and that tomorrow i was going to be receiving court papers. he said i received an online payday loan and i never paid it back. which makes no sense because i havent received any payday loans. so i guess ill just wait and see

This Indian guy who calls himself Jack (but has left messages with different aliases) has been calling me incessantly for over two weeks.  I finally picked up my phone and asked who he was...."I am Jack with the US Federal Investigative...whatever" "can i have your name please?"  I said no, I need to know what this call is regarding, to which he replied "mam, we are investigating you for fraud and you could be served with papers tomorrow morning.  tell me your name."  I said thats interesting that he needs my name to give me more information when he is telling me I am being investigated and will be served tomorrow.  
I'll give "Jack" credit for being persistent and never getting out of character, but when he called me back for the 6th time in a row when I kept refusing to give him my information, I told him I was searching his phone number on the internet as we spoke and all sorts of fraud and scam reports came up.
"Jack" replied: "Thank you bye."
I now have the phone number blocked

Got the same call, on my cell and at work, they are persistant little guys. They keep changing phone numbers and names just can't seem to disquise their accent though.. Hang tuff cause they won't go away

First of all if you did take a loan and have no intentions of paying they cant arrest you. Its an unsecured loan, like a credit card. They can sue I guess but cant take you to jail.

I just answer the call, they rarely leave a message and when they do I cant understand him. He doesnt leave a call back number so how can I call him back. He threatens me with jail. Good luck with that. I am friends with a HPD and he said I dont have a warrent so I can get arrested.

I got a call today from a man with an accent. He left a message for me to call ASAP or he feel sorry for me and I should call or my attorney. He did not say what the call was for, He did say he was from US Legal Investigation Department. Left the phone number 3104056216.

"are you dumb? can't speak? quit calling! Do you want to receive calls 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week? you're gonna call & harass us.. we're gonna call & harass you ((which they already have!!)) your mom, your dad, he listed like everyone in my family.. they are gonna get calls all day long unless you stop.. I didn't stop I kept calling.. finally he said something that made me mad.. I just went off.. told him "did you like that? did you like me calling you 50x in day? THAT WHAT YOU DO TO ME!! F-in PIECE OF SH-T!" hung up. then 5 seconds later i get a call.. saying "911" on caller ID.. so i picked it up.. noone said anything! I said "oh wow you are soo cool! You can change your phone number to make it look like 911 is calling me!! WOW you got me to pick up my phone!" hung up.. they called 3 more times.. I picked up & said "you wanna play this game? I can play too!" So I continued to call a couple more times.. then the guy says "I know all of your information.. I know where your husband works.. blah blah blah.." I mean he listed it all!! I was kind of shocked! So then I said "you think thats gonna scare me?? JUST QUIT CALLING ME! PIECE OF S**T!!!!"   and after that so far.. I haven't received a call since. LOL... ridiculous!!!

They do threaten you with fraud lawsuits and everything just as mentioned. They tell you "good luck"...what a clever way to collect money. My Thought is Challenge it.

Just received a phone call from these folks the other day. I am curious as to how they know my exact amount I asked for from a cash advance, much less the interest rate and the company its from? Is this truly a debt collector on behalf of the company or a scam?

They are all Coopers, Jack Cooper, Alex Cooper, JingleHeimer Cooper, you name it. Pretty suspicious.

got a call from 310 405 6216, heavy accent guy answered, could catch the company name cause of heavy accent, anyway, gave him the run around and tried to speak to him in spanish saying hello and who is this with an accent to probe the caller. I said who is this like 8 times in my accent, the guy just kept on asking for me if i was there, after going back and forth saying who is this in my accent, the guy just says  "Mathafucka" and hangs up, i tried calling back but to avail, the caller cannot accept calls. its funny cause he said it in an accent too. wish i knew who it was.

I received my first call today, the same guy with a very THICK accent - could hardly understand the vm he left. He said (i think) that court papers were going to be filed & i needed to contact a lawyer & "good Luck" - who the hell do these people think they are??

I started receiving these exact calls about 3 days ago, everyday about 4 or 5 times a day.  As I do have some outstanding debt, so I took the first voice mail message seriously, until I heard them give the last 4 digits of my Social Security number.  There was a message on my cell phone and my work phone (thank goodness I have a private extension at work).  I immediately "googled" the number and saw this.  Yesterday morning, they left a message on my work voice mail and within minutes called my cell phone which I answered.  He asked me my name, I answered "Who is this?".  He went into his spiel, and before he got very far I interrupted him and said "I have your phone number, I've reported you to the FTC and if this is truly a legitimate company, I will expect you mail me something" and I hung up.  I haven't received a call at work or on my cell phone since.

This company has even called my Human Resources department!  While I was on vacation I get a call from work telling me to make them stop calling ~ I've been through HE** with these people!  I told them go ahead and SERVE ME - at least I would know who they are and could file charges!

This people call me almost everyday, and i finally answered today and told them to stop calling and i hung up. they call back bit I didnt answer. He left a message saying that he was trying to help me and to have a lawyer in court and good luck. They are full of it.

Same old same old story yes it is a SCAM. all the info above are correct and this guy actually tried to give me a job with them. when i told them i am unemployed (which i'm not). i told him why would i work for stupid guys like you guys and rip someone off for now reason. i informed him that I have turned this number in to the government and my agent who is a policeman will be calling you and my lawyer (which i do not have) he said to me "LOOK I DON'T GIVE A F*** ABOUT NO POLICE OR LAWYER" now tell me what collection agency or federal government do you knwo that will say that. besides they all speak english pls becareful
if you get a call from a weird number you don't know google it first before you do anything because i was scammed by them and payed 500 but i can't keep looking back about it i can only help others like youby posting messages. again pls be careful

just got another call from them. i have several voicemails from some guy named bob white. saying hes going to send me to court for not paying on a payday loan of $5000. They have been calling almost nonstop for the past 3 weeks. theyve called 4 times this morning. I finally answered the phone and talked to "bob". he said that if i didnt pay today then i would have to go to court monday. i asked him the address of the business and a fax number. he gave me the same number that they gave to everyone else. I asked to speak to their legal dept. Bob transferred me to "Kelly Matthews". Kelly said he was a supervisor. I told kelly that i wanted to talk to the legal dept and he said he couldnt do that. I told kelly that i have obtained a lawyer and that if they didnt provide valid legal proof of the loan, and if they didnt stop calling me then i would be suing them. He said good luck and hung up.

I just recieved a call from 310-405-6216 saying that they have a lawsuit against me and if i dont pay they will come to my house and take it from me that really pissed me off i told them i didnt know who they were and the funny thing is that i supposedly took a loan out last year and they wired it to my bank account well im old fashioned and never put my money in a bank until this month lol so i got mad and started making fun of their heavy accent and told them to come to my house and we would settle it like men after all they did have my address so know i *67 them and start tellin them wheres my money and all dat good stuff until they get pissed off and hang up lol so my advice is dont pay them nothing and call them back but block your number and harass the s*** outta them back

They told me that had loan from USA loan on 2010 and told them to sent some paper work of that loan and me that  were unable to sent any info about that loan

Hope they can catch this people and put them behinmd bars

I received calls from this #(310)405-6216) and told me that had to pay 260.00 by the end of day the Harris County told me that it was scam. The police told me not to worry about this at all . And also they told me that FBI was going to stay with income that receive .

So I just got the same type of phone call that you all received. Furious, at the first call, I told them that 1) I had never done a online cash advance from USACash. I also explained to them that if their client truly felt I owed this money to send it to me in writing and to go through proper legal channels and I would be more than willing to assist them in proving this was not my debt. The mans response to me was "awww no no no judges or courts". However they did have my information. Pieces of it anyway. I am smart though and did not provide any additional information, After reading this, I call the same number that called me and asked to speak with their legal department. Of course they would not transfer me. I also spoke with two men ( common names-Jack Cooper  and Paul White) by no means to I mean to sound racist but with their heavy and thick accents I highly doubt those were their true names. I also asked for their mailing address, fax number and operator id. Of course this could not be provided to me. .. go figure. When I asked for the information about my case they refused. So I am writing this to be of help to anyone else who might be being harrassed by the same scam artists that are trying with me. I am also going to call my local pd and see if there is anything that can be done. I feel though this may not happen as their information all the way around is bogus. This is truley a scam.  The called me about 4 years ago and there scam worked on me. I ended up paying those idiots.  They tried to call me again about a year ago 2009, thick accent/ india decent/ rude/ threats all of the above.  But I did not pay them anything I got a attorney and the stop calling.  BUT.......they are trying again and I will not answer my phone, if needed I will get my number changed.  They are scam, do not send them anything.  They also call from 817-260-0095
