I just received a call from someone claiming to be from the United States Federal Investigation Bureau. The first guy spoke so fast I couldnt understand him and then he passed me off to his superior named Steven Kramer...mind you both had heavy indian accents and there was wayy too much noise in the back ground to be a legit office. I told them that I do not owe then or anyone money and they had tried this scam under a different "law firm name" months ago and it wont work. I hung up and called back to actually get a person on the phone and asked what they are asking for and what complany tried to contact me because i received no contact from this supposed payday loan company at all so its a lie. He said they tried to contact me in february which is al ie and I said well you can stop calling me and not harrass me because its a scam and a lie and it wont work. I hung up on them again. I want to see how many more time4s they try to call em and try to scam me bc after the other company did this I didnt believe it then. 310-405-6402 is a scam DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD THEY SAY!!!!!

I just received the same type of call, at work non the less. I sure hope the Attorney General is getting after these people? There is also a complaint form on the Attorney Generals sight that everyone should send in as well. Will help our case in capturing these Frauds!
Thank you all for all of your advise!

My emplyer got a call from this number 310-405-6402, saying they were a Officer Frank Watson, told them they had a warrent out for my arrest, and could they get in touch with me. employer called me, gave me his name and number, called, and they informed me that I has a outstanding payday loan from 2010. I have never had a loan from US CASH ADVANCE. Put a Jack Cooper on the phone who said that if I didnt pay this, a warrent would be issued, and I would go to jail. When I asked could he send me a copy of the paperwork, said he couldnt do it cause it was a paperless loan, then said i needed to get an attorney told him i had one, then asked were my attorneys smarter than him.. couldnt understand a word he was saying, had a foreign accent. Told me to kiss his a**, and hung up on me.

I've been getting calls from this number 310-405-6402 for about a week straight at my job, today made day five of these people calling 20 times a day. they claim i owe money from a loan i took out back in Nov of 2010. they had all my personal info, These people are a scam. I spoke with my local police for file charges but there's not much they can do without knowing whether or not these people are calling from a land line or not. They asked me did i know that there was a claim filed against me and i was gonna be locked up for fraud.

By the way if you make them really mad, they will threaten to rape you and your family. I have filed a complaint with the FTC and then I called the FTC to follow up with it. If everyone sends complaints, maybe law enforcement can find these idiots and take care of them.

They have been calling me now for a week. Today, I was in an especially frisky mood, so I decided to turn the tables on them. After making 50 free calls as I am on a wireless internet phone, I have harrassed them to the point they hang up immediately. The vulgar things they say show clearly they are not legitimate collectors and have no knowledge of the FDCPA laws. But I can say I am having a fun time at their expense today. They really don't like to be called out!!!!!! Have fun guys!!!!!!

i got a phone call from this person many times from different numbers saying we owe them money from a payday loan, and when i reply i don't owe money to nobody they start threatening me and telling my husband that they can have SEX with my wife to settle the dept and that they are going to come to our house to kill us for the dept, so we start giving them to law codes they are violating and they say they are the law and nobody can find them with a laugh, and we can call any agency we want, and asking where do we live lmao (not going to tell nobody where we live we don't know). So what do we do to get these ppl behind bars cause they have personal info like ssn and other info? its like trying to track down a ghost that is not there but really is!!

THIS IS A SCAM. Scammers pretend to be law enforcement (police, sheriff, Feds, AG's Office, fake cop agencies with made-up names) and using bought/hacked loan application data to extort money for fictitious crimes or extort personal info.

It's fun to mess with these guys. They are scammers, but not very intelligent. They get pissed off very easily. I usually call and give them an order for Indian food, and then tell them that I've had sex with their mother and father. That sends them through the roof. Then I call back and play sex noise. It kills them. They scream and cuss. It's hilarious. Don't get freaked out by them...harass them back!

Scam call - I am so tired of these scam calls. Made the mistake of taking out a payday loan years ago and now this info is being sold to these scam artists. Fraud, scammers, thieves, and they will get their day.
Do not call them, keep a log of how many times they call, when they call, get recordings and report to the FTC and FBI and local police department. Keep a copy of any complaints filed with the police dept.
This is a scam. Do not call them back. Once they start to threaten with "police will come over and take you to jail" over a debt, they are lying. They scare people to get money out of them.
Beware of these crooks. And be careful with your bank accounts, SSI numbers and info.
Take care and be smart, ask questions dont give in to terrorists.

I just got a call from someone who says his name is Scott Thomas, yeah right. He left a message on my voicemail saying I owe a debt and If I would like to settle out of court and avoid charges than I need to call immediately. I called back and adv him that I appreciate that message, because now I can sue you for FDCPA violations. He said we cant sue him, and that he will sue us because he is "Law Firm". Just to play around with him, I had one of them call with a fake name and fake number, and the guy said she still owed money, and will only take a prepaid visa card. This is obviously a prepaid disposable phone number and a scam. Dont fall for it

These people are SCAM ARTISTS!!! They called me telling me that I needed to either call them or have my attorney of record speak to him because my government had blacklisted my name and social security number. That I would not be allowed representation when I went to court (because they were going to file against me unless I settled with them immediately), and that I would rot in jail for a long time. LOL! Whatever. I asked him what it was about and he said it was for a pay day advance loan that I received. I NEVER received a pay day loan, I looked into it and decided it wasn't worth it. I explained this to him, and he got mad and started yelling at me. I asked them to put the debt in writing and send it to me, and he said he couldn't do that because it was already filed with the court. I asked him "is it filed or isn't it, because you just told me you would file it if I didn't pay you immediately. He got pissed off and started yelling at me. I simply told him that I wasn't interested in speaking to him if he couldn't prove the debt. Then they called me 15 times in 8 minutes on my office phone, and then about 6 times on my cell phone. I warned him that I would report harassment charges, and they kept calling. So I reported them to the Federal Trade Commission, and the FBI. Then when they started that calling me over and over and over again, I finally picked up and told him that I had reported him. Once he heard FBI, he hung up on me and didn't call back.
