This is NO lie and I let it rest in thr name of Jesus. It just seems that when a persons career doesn't go anywhere they start to lie and place blame. U guys arr so wrong.

Does anyone know how I can help bring Cornerstone down?  Who do I contact etc? If there is already a law suit going on or something, I would like to jump in on it. I'm not looking to profit.  I just want to help bring them DOWN.  I briefly worked for them and was under the impression that they are legit. I even made it a point to tell them that I want no part of a scam agency.  They assured me they were legit, so I sent them some of my friends, who all got f****d over. And now I look like the bad guy and I feel just as betrayed as everyone else.

I use to work for "Tristar Entertainment Network" as an appointment setter, back in 2008, for a few months everything was normal, after a few months things were starting to change the owner changed the name to "Universal Model and Actors" many calls started to come in complaining about their money pictures, etc... after a few months company's name changed again to "UMA Talent", same problem complains about money head shots, pictures or whatnot...I left right after (2009), I wasn't comfortable working in a negative atmosphere....Up to today I see they are still going by the name of "Cornerstone", not sure if by the same owner or by a new one, In my point of view it's a new owner. I called the "office number" 323-315-9484 and yeep same people working there "Veronica" know her very well, she wears a turban on her head, Caucasian, heavy body. In conclusion, I don't want people to waist their time and money with this "company" just try to avoid it and in a nice way say no thank you.

Right now I have a WAY better job! I'm very happy there :), offers benefits, full time employee, not like before, I would win by commissions and deductions =/. NOT COOL!

Like many people i panicked when I read some of the negative  blogs placed regarding cornerstone. I should have thought first (And considered my own experience) before I placed my own blog. I expressed to Dee at Cornerstone my sincere appoligy yesterday. Dee is a very sincere,trustworthy and warm hearted person. Any horrible things said about her or her assistants ARE NOT!! true. I have been dealing with Dee for some months now she is totally up front and honest. I'm here to tell you; you and your child would only be so fortuante to work with Dee and her staff. I do have to say don't always believe junk that you read off of these blogs. Dee has been absolutely GREAT!!!! with my daughter and myself I HIGHLY recommend her services to ALL!!!! I would tell anyone this. I feel terribly horrible that I was one of those people who did place a blog and in turned made Dee and her assistants feel any kind of sadness or betrail. That is not right and that is not the kind of person that I am or want to be. So again "I AM TOTALLY SORRY TO DEE AND HER ASSISTANTS FOR MY PAST BLOG" I do wish her well in all that the does. I look forward to continuing working with her. See you ladies at my daughters photo shoot :-)

Once again posting as many people. You are very easy to spot. You are a disgruntled ex EMPLOYEE that lost your job and thinks that Dee is responsible for your loosing your job. She is not. It had nothing to do with her. I am surprised that you can't be more mature about the situation. This happened many months ago, get on with your life (i mean that in a respectful way) focus on yourself instead of focusing on sabotaging a nice persons business. Dee had always been very nice to you. I wish you would remember the good times that you had and not the negative things that happened.

You shout scam scam scam and  Google this and that so people can see the other post and blogs that you wrote.But the biggest tell tell is that You make personal attacks on us when the real people just voice there concerns but after seeing this  it scares people, yes, but they never get personal and insulting like you do. You can tell who they are. They write in both small caps then start writing in large caps and have really bad grammar. I mean they are writing in extreme FALSE detail. Why write in such detail (false detail) No random person would just "know" these things. They are just writing a bunch of junk because they are pissed off without taking into account that anyone with half a brain wouldn't believe this crap.

How is it a scam if you said that they told you that you can use your own photographer?!?!?  YOU obviously decided to use their referral. Think about it. You had a choice. You even said so on here.

Thank you all so much for all of your comments. They got me and my daughter too. We drove down there 4 times and Dee said she loved my 16 year old daughter and told her "You go Halle Berry". One of my checks just cleared today. First thing tomorrow morning I'm calling my bank to put a stop payment on my other two checks. God willing hopefully they have not gone through yet. All of you have describe Dee and Veronica to a TEE! So I know you are all telling the truth. I wonder how can Gower Studio allow people like this to be a part of there studio. They tried to scam me and my family and I will fight to the end to get every penny back plus some more for the fake excitment and the fake hopes these two witchs installed in my family! I am so upset that I have been played a fool but, I am so thankful for this information! I had a callback from the so called Cornerstone at the Gower Studios from Veronica who is Dee's supposedly assistant and I was very suspicious about them on how they had no business cards her office in the gower studios looked like they just moved there it wasn't even set up. I am new at this and this will be the first and last time that I go to a so called audition. I got scouted with my three babies at the Santa Anita Mall by a young asian man who ask if I was interested in having my 3 babies in tv, movies, commercials and catalogs so I said what the heck why not 2 days later I get a call from Veronica and she asked to set an appt to come in she didnt ask for no money just bring pics of the kids to meet her boss. So, we met with Dee and that was all she said right away I felt not right, I didnt pay attention to my gut my kids were all excited and there Dad . We gave her our pics and she sd she will either get back to us if her people like what they see or dont. Yesterday March 23, 2010 we had our 2nd call back and she sd the agents wanted 2 of my kids and they needed more professional photos. So, we could either find our own photographer or use one of there referrals in return 170.00 for 1 look. She showed me and my kids father soo many pics like we were photographers and were not so she was slick but today I found the urge to google the number I recieved 323-315-9484 and what do u know people are on here stressing there concerns. I stop payment on a so called photo shoot for this Sunday and now Veronica is blowing up my phone how convenient is that. I am soo ready to take this to the news anyone interested. I dont like being played for a fool. I got admit though Dee was pretty slick Im a con myself but Im better. Be smart pay attention to your surroundings and pay attention to your GUT FEELING THAT IS WHATS ITS FOR.

My daughter was "scouted" at the wistaria festival in Sierra Madre and now I'm getting calls from "Veronica from Cornerstone at the Gower Studios".  Doing a Google search has brought me to this discussion loop and I will NOT be calling her back.  I was sure is was a scam but wanted to get some backup.  The lady at the fair said - "no money from you, not like other places" yadda yadda yadda...

I was also approached at a mall and told that my almost 4 year old son was cute & could be used in commericals.  Veronica has called twice (323) 315-9484, but seeing these posts, I won't return the calls.  Thanks.

That makes me feel really bad for anyone who actually gives their money to these people. Deeanna and anyone who works for her are just dishonest people... there is no other way to put it.
