They called me two weeks ago to be a part of Research.fm and like an idiot I actually signed up for it when they emailed me the link (I've actually done a survey before and gotten paid for it). However, considering everything I'm seeing here I fear it's a scam. I only typed in my address and birthdate on the site so hopefully they can't do any real damage other than send me spam mail. I definitely know NOT to input any information like credit card numbers or social of course. I ended up going back to the link changing all my information and then of course "opting out". I called the number back and got a recording stating that they are "not part of the Do Not Call List" so they aren't legally obliged to abide by that list. I entered my number after the prompt so that they don't call me back ever again. We'll see what happens.

These idiots call our house every day, 2-3 times per day.  We never answer.

I recently got a phone call from this number too.  I just ignored it.

No Message, But The Number's On My Caller Id?

These people have called my number at least 5 or 6 times in the past few weeks.  Twice when my daughter answered the phone and came to look for me they had hung up by the time I got to the phone.

I made the mistake of doing one of their surveys and now get called over and over. Each time I decide to answer I ask them to take my name off the list and they promise they will but then call within a few days again. Just spoke to someone who claimed to be a manager who gave me a ridiculous story about how my number could have been listed multiple times so it wasn't deleted from the system.

If you call their number back, you'll get a recording saying they do not legally need to adhere to the do not call list because they're not selling anything. How convenient for them. They also say if you enter your number they will take it off the list.  I doubt they will if they won't take it off when you expressly ask them to.

My suggestion is that everyone call their number, lay the phones down, walk away, and just tie up their lines so they can't call out. At least someone will get a break from their annoying calls for a little while.

I spoke with the man at the lobby by pressing zero. I told him that I do not appreciate the solicitation and that I would like my number removed from their system, furthermore I am not interested in their product. The man said that I will be removed within 24 hours and was apoligetic.

I got a call with no message. I just found this website and I am glad people have submitted their stories here, I almost called back. There should be no reason why these companies are doing this.

Put my number on their 'courtesy' do not call list.  Still keep calling.  I hope they all get cancer and die.

They call me everyday.  I finally answered, they asked for me by name, I told them they had the wrong number so we'll see if they continue to call.

These yahoos just called me saying they were from a Dallas Radio Playlist organization and asked for my wife. I didn't recognize this number (found out it was a Cincinnati, Ohio landline). I told them they could not talk to the person they asked for and they said thank you and hung up.

I answered this call once and on accident.  I had my cell headset on that automatically answers after 2 rings.  First the man was speaking to me as if I were the annoying one, saying "We called you at such and such date and you did not answer" like it's my fault I don't facilitate their harassment.  I was driving and bored so I did their stupid survey on radio stations and popular songs.  It was fun for the first 5 but they make you listen to 35 clips!!!  And they want you to write down the responses that they're looking for.  It was ridiculous.  I never answered again but they still keep calling.

My cell phone got quiet for a while, but as of 5pm yesterday, the telemarketers started up. I wonder if it has something to do with the colleges being open again.  Who else would work a crappy job like telemarketing?

FYI: Whitepages says the phone company providor is Cincinnati Bell and it is a Landline.

Just call the number back and you are given the option of being placed on their own DO NOT CALL list.  I started getting calls from them after i signed up as a member for KISS-FM.

Same as almost everyone who had commented on this number.  They call me around the same hour of 1 or 2 days a week for probably 3 weeks now.  I never pick up since i absolutely do not know anyone from Ohio.  They never leave any messages either.  but i pick up today, just to really see what it is that they want, and they hanged up right after i picked up.  What a waste of my minute! This number is such a scam.

513 531-3690 - calls constantly (including weekends and late at night), but doesn't leave a message.

After getting these hang-up calls several times a day, on and off for months, I finally called back and put my number into their system. Note that the recorded message says they "maintain" a list of numbers that call back, but doesn't really say that they honor that list. . . Hmmm . . .  I also looked up their website. The company seems legit, but that doesn't stop them from being extremely rude and annoying! Here's contact info from their site if anyone wants to complain:

If you call the number and listen to the message they state that they don't have to use the DO NOT CALL list because they aren't selling anything.  They are doing radio surveys.  Listen long enough and they give you the option to dial your number in and have it removed.  It's that easy.

ugggh so annoying.. this guy calls my house atleast 3x's a week, always around 8pm. He somehow knows my name, I had my boyfriend answer the phone, and he asked for me!! (very creepy) I googled the number and got this site, so I'm glad to know that others deal with this too!

They call several times each day.  They leave no mesage and I will not call it back.

These people continue to call all times of the night even on weekends. I have spoken to them once and told them I was not interested but they continue to call. I have just stop answering the phone when I see their number. Thank goodness for caller id
