Calls late at night and doesn't answer.

3/19 18:59 PDT Been a while since this one tried to call me, but since unidentified and no message, don't really care.  It does seem pretty obvious probably a telemarketer, but can't be certain.  No loss.

Got a call from these AssHats this morning, they called back that afternoon from 310-361-0227.  So now here is a 2nd number to block.

Another robo calling criminal stealing my time; invading my space by their intrusive calling.
Government does nothing; the telco will do nothing.

It's time to cancel our phones and use smoke signals.  

My cell phone--which is really old--is able to block calls; but you're right, most of these are limited to landlines.  Only keep mine for emergencies, but more often than not it catches only telemarketers (wish it could block more than just 30 numbers).

And yes, I just got this number less than 15 mins. ago, same "click" when it goes to answering machine. Disgusting.

They call periodically but never leave a message.  Don't know who they are.  When I check the number online, it just says that the call originates from Gardena, CA and it is a land line service but the prefix is a cellular prefix.  I don't get it.  I'm almost sure that it is a robocalling telemarketer for some construction or home improvement scheme.  If you get solicitations from any of these types, don't ever give them any business because they are dishonest.  Most of them lie to you by saying that they spoke with you before when they never have and they use phony phone numbers so that they cannot be traced.  They cannot be trusted so just hang up.  Unfortunately, complaining to the phone company or government or the "Do Not Call" people does little or no good.  I suggest that you get a call blocker if you can but most of them only work with land line phones.    

Still calling me.  They never give up.

1/2/14 20:01 PST  This was last night.  Really dislike getting calls from unidentified callers this time of night.  Surprised no one else has reported them.  According to Spokeo, (white pages, reverse # look-up) there are several complaints against this telemarketer, but unknown company.

1/2/14 20:36 PST  Here we go again.  Managed to almost make it thru a day without any garbage calls.  Only rang once here so NOMOROBO seems to be working well, since my call blocker doesn't show my having blocked it.

So they inevitably get around to me - seems that I am on every scammer's list these days.  No ID, just an idiot trying to have a conversation with my voicemail.  Morons.

Scammers calling saying they are from the Edison Company and the Department of Water and Power. So sick of these scum balls

Saturday call. Didn't pick up. No message.

what jerks..........called from Hermosa Beach, CA.......no message..........will put on my call block list.

They called this morning.  Delay, then click, click etc.  Added to the blocked list.

Another hangup call:  no response when I answered.

Called, left no message. A violation of our rights, since we're on the Do Not Call registry.

Asked for my late husband. Barely paused spiel when I told her he was dead. They're in the area and  giving free estimates on home repairs blah, blah, blah. No.

I got a call today at 0940, it ran then hung up and right after a few seconds later got a call from 881

I received a hang up as well. It was at 12:44PM. Just another spoofed number.

Hmmm... maybe this is just a wrong # since there are no reports yet.  In any event, hangup call at 1207 pm today.
