Third telemarketing call today, this one hawking discount trips to Las Vegas. He said he worked for VIP Travel but when I tried to get details (address/Phone) he fled.  Caller ID number, forged.  Work at getting details on the business as they can be sued successfully. Whining that they are violating the Do Not Call list is a waste of time. They don't care and are likely just a minimum wage phone hack.  Finally...COMPLAIN, TO YOUR STATE AND FEDERAL REPS OTHERWISE THIS WILL NEVER CHANGE!  Keep a phone log next to your phone and log the date, time, and (forged) number of every call. When you get a good long list (it won't take long) then send it to every congressman you can.

Sadly, since these are forged Caller ID numbers they simply use another to call again...

Looking at my Verizon call logs, I see they called and were blocked by my call blocker.  Then seconds later 1 909 236-7130 called and were blocked by Nomorobo.  Seconds later the same number (but without a 1 in front) called again and was blocked by my call blocker.  These numbers may be related.

Try all you want a-holes, but you're not going to get through.  Our house is quiet since we got a call blocker and went with a white list.

Called the number back this evening - just to check them out.
Got a recording saying "the voice mail box is full" and then a male recorded voice said "S R Green Energy Solutions."
A quick Bing search showed about 50 "Green Energy Solutions" companies - none of which are located in Santa Monica, CA.  I was told today that they were located "in Santa Monica."

BIG TIME SCAM!  
Always ask for a CA State license number - they are required by law, to tell you their license # - if they even have a license!

I live in the "310" and the CID read wireless caller.  I answered.  
Within 2 seconds I realized it was a solar scam - a very popular scam here in S CA.  
I "worked" the inexperienced salesman asking for his address - asking why the CID read "wireless caller" - he said "a computer glitch; it happens all the time."  When I asked for his CA State license number - he hung up on me.

Buy a call blocking phone or a blocking device - they work and they are inexpensive.

No message left (we never answer). 800Notes.com reports irratating call with no reason. Occasionally music only. Blocking it.

Received a call from a wireless 310 592-3829. Music in the background for maybe two seconds and hang up. Not the first time this happened. Why do they call?

Called today -- I answered it.  At first, it was dead air.  Then, it played a few chords of some really crappy music.  Then it went back to dead air.  No voice ever came on, recorded or otherwise.  What is the point of these idiots?  Truly obnoxious. Caller ID said "wireless caller."
