I have Caller ID and normally don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, but this one happened to have my area code, so I thought there may have been some legitimacy to it.  I was wrong.  I've registered our phone number under the Do Not Call Registry, but I continue to get many calls like this one.  I'm going to start having my toddler answer the phone when telemarketers call.  He loves to play with phones (or anything with buttons) and screams for me to give him the phone when he sees me on it.  He could use the practice and babble to the nobody on the other end of the line.

Exactly same complaint as the others.  No answer when you up the phone.  Very annoying if I am on the other line.

Keep getting calls with no answer when I answer phone. When I call back it tells me the number is disconnected or no longer in service

ID says 'out of area".  did not answer and they did not leave a message

Everyone PLEASE help out and report these companies so we can all get rid of the calls. The more people complain the better !!!

What to Include in Your Complaint

The best way to provide all the information the FCC needs to process your complaint is to complete fully the online complaint form. When you open the online complaint form, you will be asked a series of questions that will take you to the particular section of the form you need to complete. If you do not use the online complaint form, your complaint, at a minimum, should indicate:
?your name, address, email address and phone number where you can be reached;
?the phone number where you received the call, and whether this number is on the national Do-Not-Call list;
?the date and time of the call;
?whether the call advertised or sold any property, goods, or services;
?any information (including a caller ID number) to help identify the individual or company whose property, goods, or services were being advertised or sold, and whether any of this information was provided during the call;
?whether you or anyone else in your household gave the caller permission to call;
?whether you have an EBR with the caller (specifically, whether you or anyone else in your household made any purchases of property, goods, or services from the individual or company that called, or made any inquiry or filed an application with the individual or company prior to receiving the call); and
?whether you or anyone in your household previously asked the caller or individual or company whose property, goods, or services are being advertised or sold NOT to call, and when you made the request.

Every day I get a call from this number. They don't leave a message and even when I answer there is no one on the other end and the call is disconnected. I even called back the number but it is disconnected or no longer in service. How do you block these calls from coming through. They are calling the house phone.

dial *57 to send a call trace to law enforcement.
