Caller ID showed this number at 2:51 PM 9/4/2008 ...I answered with "hello"...only silence, I hung up right away

Did not answer. Message left was...Congratulated me and said it was the awards claim center and that they had a drawing yesterday and my name was drawn. If I call back within 48 hours I could win new Lincoln Navigator, cash a trip, etc......I may contact the office at 800-577-7137, ext. 8073 and ask for Dario Davis the awards coordinator and he can give you all the details. Search reveals the owner of this number is BROADWING COMMUNICATIONS, LLC - IL, Chicago 60602

I too just got a call like that..I said hello..heard someone say hello and then nothing? Wonder what that was all about...

Me too, when my husband was in the hospital going through a brain aneurysm, so I thought it c/b the hosp calling. When I called back, heard a black woman VM say, "this is victoria davis, leave your name...etc." I hung up...

Same # called me. Said hello, was quiet for a couple seconds then hung up. Was the third simular call today. First came up "unavailable", second came up as "608-000-000". All hung up after saying hello.

This number appeared on the caller ID, and when I said "Hello" someone on the other end said "Hello" back to me then hung up.
