I also got a call from "Matthew Keller" who had a partial SSN but a couple numbers didn't match.   He admitted that he didn't even know if I was the right person based on my name, but was trying to get me to give up that info.
I told him he had the wrong person.

I checked out there website and called them, trying to get their street address.   I told them I needed to fedex them some info showing that I didn't owe the money they're claiming.  The woman on the phone said "Bring it to court." and hung up on me.   Obviously anyone who was seriously pursuing a court case wouldn't behave like that.  These people are definitely a collection agency but are not actually doing any court filings or else I'm sure they would want any information I offered to send them via fedex.

I just filed my complaint with the FTC against them as well, and I encourage others who receive these abusive phone calls to do the same:

I had the same thing happen to me twice from this company, calling TWO different family members.  However, the 2nd time the guy used the name Matthew Keller (prob. an alias, I'm sure they have many). Its a clandestine operation out of Illinois, somewhere in Chicago area. Their website has NO fax # and no physical address. What does that tell you? Their website looks like a piece of crap put together by some uneducated child - what does that tell you?  This GROUP OF EXTORTIONISTS apparently buy VERY, VERY OLD data from God knows where (it could be any number of companies/individuals having access to old databases)and then proceed to chase after the money on the old debt, sometimes quite violently and aggressively.  I've done quite a bit of research on them. I also found ONE other person I know personally who has experience with this COLLECTION COMPANY.  They will stop at nothing to extract info. from the person on the phone, even claim to be filing lawsuits and working w/ the FBI.  The United States of America does NOT have a "debtors prison." People in the U.S. have NEVER gone to jail for debts, that's why our ancestors left England (they had debtor's prison).  DO NOT let these evil people sweat you!!  They are liars and abusors who will stop AT NOTHING to get to you.  They are purely evil people ... no wonder debt collections has high turnover.  And yes, like others have mentioned on here, they sound like they're straight FROM THE HOOD ... ghetto that is.  Do NOT give them anything!!

That's almost impossible to believe.  People don't normally get served a subpoena for credit issues, unless its a huge item (such as a home).  Are you sure you're not ONE OF THEM??

I can't believe I actually wasted $29 to get my credit report because of these idiots. All the Male wokers there are named 'Fred Myers' lol.. after calling them back and giving them a taste of their own medicine I realized this is a scam/joke as is their web site, it's simply made to make people think they are a legit company when in reality they're anything but. I could only imagine how many innocent people have fallen victim to them and given their 411 out of fear. We need to stop these low lives and report them to the ftc. Here is the link to their web site if anyone's interested:

An office that I worked at 3 years ago called me today to let me know that a Mr. Fred Myers was looking for me and that I was being investigated for fraud and that I must show up for court.  He was verbally abusive to my old office mate and told her that by law she must tell him where I am or she would go to jail to.  This guy asked for my address, phone number where I work. Like all the other complaints he had my last 4 of social but counld't really tell me anything else.  The problem I have is that I don't owe anyone any money.  I paid off all my old debt a few years ago.  As a matter of fact I pulled my credit yesterday just to check who is checking on me and to see if I had anything bad and I don't. I don't trust these people.  I think they are the ones who are trying to steal peoples identity. Called the number and coundn't take the yelling and verbally language.  I hung up.

The call was from International Judgement Services in Chicago, IL. (312)265-4816 and (312)265-4627.

The individual I spoke with when I received a similar call was very rude, said a group of lawyers was going to sue me for a debt on a credit card I never had.  They had a lot of my personal information (name, address, SS, etc) that could be easily abused.  I filed a police report on this organization since they were abusive in their taticts, had personal information that could be easily used for identity theft.

I got a call from 312-265-4816 at 5AM at my home. A women with Ebonics accent left a message about a civil investigation. Right after, she called my office and left a voice mail again.
I called back and talked with Fred Mayers. He played that he did not know much and all that he knows is that my husband is being investigated.
Few months ago, I was called with the same bull---
Do not listen to them. It is a fraud and you should put a protection on your credit report!
The FBI should be after this group already.
The caller ID was Unknown and the phone number was 312-265-7830

I received a call from this same nmbr and was told there was a "civil complaint" against me by this bank i had a line of credit through. I really didnt believe this at the time and after a little investigating of my own i found this page from googleing the number. I called them back and let them have it. I do owe the money but didn't think this was serious. Five days later i was served with a subpena at my work place by a uniformed officer that was brought to my office by my boss of all people. Not only was i embarressed in front of my co-workers but now my jobs in jepordy. I dont know where these guys came from but their the real deal. I didnt think you could be sued for a loan or a credit card.

A man named Fred Myers called twice on my unlisted cell phone, saying he was an investigator for an international  adjustment company, investigating a person named Ricardo Brazile (whom I've never heard of). He said that information from a  "federal database" indicated that I was a "personal associate" of this individual. I assured him that I knew no one by that name, then I asked Mr Myers many questions that he would not answer to my satisfaction: his company name, how he got my cell phone number, the name of the federal agency with this so-called "federal database" with my number and false information, what he was investigating, etc. He was very evasive and hung up on me twice.  I called the number back immediately to see if I could get a company name; but the same individual answered, and he hung up when I demanded to know who he worked for and how he got my number. Who is this character? How can we find out and have him stopped?

Message left - This message is for for Andrew Waznikowska, so my name is Investigator Fred Myers, I am contacting you in regards to a pending investigation  that is being formalized in my office and which at this point of time your name has been developed as a person of interest.  I need you to contact me once you receive this message my number is 312-265-4816.  This is in regards to the Case Affidavit #CTQ16961 Please contact me as soon as you receive this message it is important that you contact me today.

As the "Investigator" did not note the name of his agency and when you try to call the number given back it is an unknown pager number.  I would guess this to be a collection call.  The person noted is not at this number which I have had for 5 years.  The background sounds seem to indicate a lot of "investigators" on similar calls.
