continuous calls

Got a call from this number.

I HAVE RECEIVED CALLS FROM THESE IDIOTS FOR SOMETIME BUT HAVE A RULE NOT TO ANSWER CALLS THAT I DON'T KNOW BUT THEY HAD THE NERVE TO LEAVE ME A MESSAGE TO CALL "KEVIN O'CONNEL, CIVIL PROCESSOR WITH JS & ASSOCIATES.  I AM A LAW ABIDING CITIZEN AND KNOW FOR A FACT I DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING OUTSTANDING IN THE US JUSTICE SYSTEM.  I RECEIVED CALLS FROM 312.265.6189 & 312.265.4663.  MY SUGGESTION JUST DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE OR FILE PHONE ARRASSMENT CHARGES WITH YOUR LOCAL AUTHORITIES.

Asking for my husbands telling me a civil suite has been put against him and they need to talk to him asap or they will put out a warrent for his arrest. They are calling everyone in my family and then some... It has to stop now

They called our house too asking for my husband and that he had a civil suite againt him and need to talk to him A.S.A.P........They even gave me a case number to give when we called back? Well we did nothing but yet they have also called my daughter-in-law, my niece and my brother. All asking and telling them all of the above. My oldest brother asked him for his name he gave it ( yeah right ) and the case number. Just asked him a load of questions which he was more than happy to answer. I want to know how he found my niece's phone number which she has been married and the name is nothing like ours and she lives in tenn. My brother, my daughter-in-law which the name is very different from ours.
Can anyone add anything here? Confused and pissed

I have been getting the same phone messages to my cell phone. I never call back and I never answer any number I don't recognize.  The trick is never make contact with these people. They will eventually stop.  I believe they buy old charged-off credit card or finance company debt and try to collect by their strong arm tactics and scaring people into responding.

Yeah guys! They stole $564 back in 2007, when I was making the bucks...it was over some gone under finance company from a loan my EX had in 1997...I am now collecting the UNE' checks ...whaaaat are they goin do?, garnish my unemployment check?
and a pitiful no kind of pay job....that the high schoolers will take over soon in another county.
I am being evicted out of my home, I am trying to get food stamps, so maybe they want food stamps?
Lately I am on here constantly because I took a student loan for school, but I may not finish this semester. And maybe why they are calling among a host of others, is that I have owe taxes of almost 1000 dollars....they do tax the unemployment check!
And maybe that I do pay my real bills....except the house, but I have something to drive away with.

they have been harrassing me on and off for years, if they can catch me. I work a small less than minimum wage job in another county, for less than 15hr week, so,they threaten to file a civil action against me in that county. They did get me a few years ago, in another state for $564, a settlement from a bankrupt finance company, gone in 1997, that my EX husband had a loan with...I was really working then, making real money,so they had scared me out of that money(564).
I told them they were lying theiving scumbags, I am UNemployed and I was being evicted and they already stole money from me, what more do they want and hung up...they called back from the same number and another number, I kept picking it up and slamming it down.

can't believe I actually wasted $29 to get my credit report because of these idiots. All the Male wokers there are named 'Fred Myers' lol.. after calling them back and giving them a taste of their own medicine I realized this is a scam/joke as is their web site, it's simply made to make people think they are a legit company when in reality they're anything but. I could only imagine how many innocent people have fallen victim to them and given their 411 out of fear. We need to stop these low lives and report them to the ftc. My wife is getting the same exact call, with the same exact dialog from these people. We contacted them and tried to get their address so that a lawyer could contact them, and thats when things got really nasty. We got a head honcho over at this place and he was so completely unprofessional and out of control we recorded the entire conversation. I'm confident that these people are nothing more than con artist, and we are set out to prove it. Not only prove it, but hold them accountable for their reckless actions. As with all the other complaints listed here, they have done the same with me but the last call said they also had an outstanding warrant for my husbands arrest unless I comply with their request for my personal information including social security number. My local Police dept. advised that I just block the call and file a complaint here at this web address.

Called me to. same thing,said Federal Marshals were going to serve me with papers. Wanted my bank account # to set up a payment plan. They have called my Aunt,Uncle and Mom this week. They think I'm wanted by the law. WTF

They left me a voice mail this morning saying the exact same thing they've said to everybody else here. "I'm special investigator so and so, there is a civil action against you, your case # is blah blah blah, call back within 48 hours or further action will be taken. This is a very serious matter!"

On the voice mail, they said the message was for somebody else, I was about to call them back to let them know that they have the wrong number, until I found this site, now I'm not calling them back at all. :)

Calls from 312-265-5147 and 312-265-4816.  Mt answering machine picked up calls.  Lady Identifies self as Katelyn LaPolla as a special investigator.  We are being sued in civil court.  For me or my lawyer to contact their office within 48 hours as it is a legal and important matter.

A woman is giving info about my ex being a respondent in a court civil suit SBA2159. This sounds serious, but looking at all the other callers messages, how could this be real from CHICAGO where I live in TEXAS. Come on, the area code should at least be in the same city.....GET A REAL JOB!!! Ya'll don't be scammed.........

If you get to talk to these people and they start being irate or forceful with you just say you are a """person of the law""" and watch how fast they hang up Or just ask for there information and tell them that you will have your Lawyer contact them thats all you need to say. Trust me the conversation will be over. But tell them Nothing about your real life.

This is strictly a scam to get your personal info if you talk to anyone on the phone all you have to say to them is "mail me what you want to tell me" and they will hang up because they do not have your mailling address just your phone # unless your are nieve and give them your mailing address which you should never do. it is a total scam that prey on week people . Basicly they are ghetto rats using big words that they learned in GED class that is it ...

Very stern man left message saying that my husband had a civil suit pending. When I called back to get info the lady said that she would not give me info because "people don't always know who they are married to"!!!
45 minutes on the phone with them the next day, they would not answer any questions and were very hostile. SCUM!!!!

This is the second attempt these people made in the last 2 months to pull this on me. They called, a very stern sounding woman claims she is an "investigator" with some civil judgement office that I have never heard of and claims that a civil complaint is being filed against me. They try to prop up their scam with actually connecting you to another "investigator" who will issue you an actual case number so they can track who you are. When you start to ask them questions , they start geting nasty and rude and calling you a criminal. No matter how many times I asked, "what is this about? who is suing me? what is the actual charge?" The lady would say she does not have that information. yet the want you to hand over all of your personal information to settle this "mythical" case with payments. I guess a lousy attempt at reverse psychology. They freak you out and scare you into paying them to take care of things. Thanks to sites like this , I was able to see others having the same crappy scam being pulled on them. These people are not legit. They are out to set you up.

Don't ever believe theese types of people they are the same [people who have been scaming for months!! They were in MD now # shows IL They called me in august from 240-235-5614 now disconnected!! They tell every one about the same thing usualy about florida financing company and if you don't pay they will have an officer show up on your doorstep.  They will get real ghetto with you if you start getting defensive infact I turned it around on them and started calling them out and she didn't like it and started calling me a bi*** no company would ever get that way !!! It's always the same 4 people I know there voices!!  DONT GIVE THEM MONEY!!! Im investigating them now and im going to find them why because i have nothing better to do and they are scums they called me the day before thanksgiving HELL NO IT's ON!!!!

I just got the same call -- the person on the phone said that a "civil complaint" had been filed against me....she wouldn't provide any other details and said that I had to call some number for more information. I hung up the phone immediately.

I also got a call from this number and was told that I was being sued, but they refused to give me any information regarding what I'm being sued for, or by whom. They asked me for personal information, and when I refused, they made threats about calling the police, they called me a criminal, said I was obstructing justice, and said I was going to need a lawyer. She also suggested I must be gay (I guess because a male roommate answered the phone). If anyone has any info on this company (Judgement International), please post. They appeared under two numbers, 312-265-5147 and 312-265-6189.

Says I am being sued and must call immediately.
