and that should've said
we'd be calling them
not them calling us
and when you file a complaint with the ftc
also call the state police and your local police to file a complaint

They keep calling and want info from my Ameren bill, I didn't give it to them, but maybe I should report it to the Police ,the State Police so it will be in their jurisdiction.

Have these four numbers blocked out now.Was getting four calls a day last week from these guys
Only have 12 numbers to lock out with Comcast Voice..Need to keep reloading and deleting as needed.

B*****ds keep calling here ,picked up the last of a dozen calls this last month, and pressed 0 to be connected. the girl announced her self  and started the sales talk. I said stop calling me, she kept talking ,I yelled in the phone STOP CALLING ME! she still was talking as I hung up. They call again I will do the same except I will use my trumpet in her ear.

The numbers that this same scam outfit calls on are 312-340-5580, 312-340-5582, 312-340-5583, 312-340-5585.  They all show different caller id names in an cheapo attempt to "fool" you into not realizing that this is all one big scam outfit.  Don't answer any calls from these numbers.  Don't give out any electric company information like acct number, meter number, etc.   They can switch you to another electricity provider that will probably double your rates and "lock" you into a 2 year contract with a massive monetary penalty if you try to cancel.  This is the same scam that was around during the telephone company wars when people were being switched unknowingly, which was called "slamming".  NEVER GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL OR BUSINESS INFO TO ANYONE YOU DON'T KNOW that calls or visits your home uninvited!  Call the police if they refuse to leave your home!  I think there is a big push on by this electric providers to sign up new customers because there are many local municipalities that are going to negotiate reduced electric rates for their towns on behalf of the residents and get the best deal available.  Then if you want to, you can switch to your town's provider to take advantage of the savings.  And I don't think there are any penalties if you wish to go back to ComEd.

These electric-rate reduction calls are illegal scammers making illegal telemarketing calls.  They claim to represent ALL of the electricity providers and that they can lower your rate if you give them your current account number on your electric bill.  

HANG UP!  GIVE THEM NO PERSONAL INFORMATION!!!

Report them immediately to www.donotcall.gov.  Mention the key words they are using about 'approved federal program' or 'approved federal refund.'  They are pretending to be with the government.  They are not.  Report these crooks!

Caller ID shows Customer Service. I called back-recorded message says to press one to stop the calls. Recording does not say what call was for.

I have received phone calls from this number.  The ID lists " Customer Service".  I receive 2-4 calls from this number per day.   I also received calls from 312-340-5580. ID lists this as " Member Services".  I received as many as 5-6 calls a day from this number until I blocked it.  I am no blocking this number as well 312-340-5580.  Can someone tell me what this is about. I did a phone number look up for both numbers but could not get a reply without paying for a search report.  I am on the Do Not Call List, not that I find it does any good.

Automated voice...So friggin' frustrating...I have the phone number they are calling forwarded to a cell number, so I have NO OPTION to be placed on their do not call list.  They obviously have an outdated system that does recognize cell tones, but only land line phones.  I blocked their number from my cell, but they leave a voice mail with no call back number or anything except, "Press 1 to claim your deduction"...PITA!!!!  This is obiously a scam, fraud business as there is no company name, old systems, no call back number.  I hope these folks spend a long time in jail for the time they have wasted everybody.

Second call today with no message. Looks like I may have to block it.

They called here 5x already and it's not even noon & no messages left. 2 extensions, 5580 & 5582. Called back both and pressed 1, recording said it will take up to 24hrs to be removed. We shall see!

Got several calls from this # 312-340-5582.  When I finally picked up I got dead air like it was going to be a recorded message.

they called my house 3 times yesterday, plus numerous times a week. under 312-340-5582(customer service) and (312)340-5580(member services) about reducing electric bill. I have tried to have my name removed from their list, doesn't work! which makes me think SCAM! I don't understand how they keep getting away with this!!!

They have called my house at least 10 times, when you answer a recording tells you they want to reduce your electric bill. If you press zero you can speak to a rep. I told them I reported them to the FCC and I placed them on the DO NOT CALL LIST and to stop calling my freaking house. The rep said the request may take up to 48 hours....we'll see what happens.
I hate being harrassed at home.

Says "customer service"  sounds like a scam...they call numerous times and don't leave any messages on the answering machine.

The FCC Complaint Division doesn't even acknowledge receipt of complaint.....Why bother
