has a accent says i can get a loan for 3000 when I say I don't want a loan he curses me. So one I said yes to see what he wanted he wanted me to go to a western union and send 350:00 for ins on the money then they would send the 3000 to the western while I waited. sounds like a scam to me

This phone keeps calling me for cashnet. It's one of those indian guys cell phone and I call it back to back to back to back to back until they understand not to call my number again. They are scam artists pretending to be from some CashNet Loans company looking for Shauna which I have told them a mere 30 times"SHE DOES NOT OWN THE PHONE@!!!!!!". i KEPT CALLING THEM BACK AND THEY CUSSED ME "Mother F'er".. I called back again and again and it pisses them off.

If you keep calling them right back even when they say ok, they will eventually understand not to call back. When they do call back, call them a millions times back again.

if you have a smartphone, download an app called Call Blocker Plus.....then go to your contacts make a contact called "scammer"....when they call, save their phone number to that contact and then add that contact to your Blacklist on Call Blocker plus.....they started calling me at 730 this morning....I just keep adding all their stupid phone numbers to the scammer contact and they can't get through again with that number

I contacted Magic Jack, via their online customer service chat, to report harassing calls from 312-450-7401. An investigation has been started.

I'm surpirsed! I live in Chicago and this is going on. I'm ashamed to be here. Sorry guys! I've gotten three robo calls today! All from "indians." Ya know what ya do? If you get THAT bugged, answer it and say, "911, what is your  emergency, how can I help you?"  Then keep saying it if they keep asking for you until they hang up! I GUARANTEE THEY WON'T CALL YOU BACK! I might change my phone number when I get a job because of all these scam callers. Might not help, but I can't stand it no more.

This is Sameday Loan. Constantly calling from different numbers 30 times a day or more! Always w/hang up calls leaving dead air messages or a man in a foreign accent will say hello, hello to the answering machine. Finally I understand they are looking for someone that is not me and still will not stop. Most of these #'s cannot be blocked by your phone! I called the Federal Trade Commission @ 877-382-4357 and filed a complaint. They are trying to get these people.

I keep getting calls from this number, don't leave messages and I call back to a voicemail and I leave a message saying to not call, but it continues..

These people are constantly calling my cell phone at all hours of the night and day. They have some kind of phone number generator which calls you with fake numbers with all kinds of area codes. If you answer they sometimes say nothing and hang up. Other times they ask for a name you have nothing to do with and say you are approved for a 5k loan. I am a old man, have not applied for anything or bought anything with a loan in the past 20 years. If you call them back they answer and you tell them to remove you and they say ok and click. Not even 20 seconds later they call again and again. I tell them I am reporting them to the ftc and they say nasty profanity and the indian guy says he will f@#k my mother and Rape everyone I know.

This guy must really have no life and hate himself to put him self out there like that. I dont wish harm on anyone, but if someone actually went down to chicago and murdered this guy, I would applaud them. They have caused me stress and have killed my phone battery day after day. Even with block it app they just keep calling with different numbers and threaten your life.

They called me 13 times in one day claiming to be Cash Net USA.  I asked them every time to quit calling and they either laughed or hung up.  The most recent guy told me he was going to find me and F*ck me.  These people need to be stopped! What can I do to keep them from calling?

I was awoken at 7:27am by a call from 285-244-5435 and a woman with broken English asking for Laura. I told her she had a wrong #.  Then at 7:45am a man called from 687-979-5283 asking for Laura again. Again I explained that they had a wrong #.  Then they called again at 8:25am and I said 'how do I get you guys to stop calling me?' Obviously they don't understand English or common decency or they would surely stop.  If they think I'm going to buy something from someone who harasses me over the phone they are sorely mistaken!   I don't even know what they are selling but I'm not buying.  It's amazing to me that anyone would buy anything from strangers over the phone.  But someone must or they wouldn't find the profit in it.  What is becoming of our privacy anymore?  No one seems to respect it!!!

my wife has been getting about 5-10 calls per day ( no lie ) from this Cash Net USA scam loan company in Chicago, Il 60606 on her mobile phone and it usually starts at 6:15 am or so our time daily . This man ( definitely Middle Eastern Indian )(accent is very distinct ) cannot be mistaken. All he says is " you qualified and are pre-approved for a $5000. loan. They use extremely nasty language  but I guess they are like that in their country and that's the way they probably talk and treat their women also. This company is a total " scam " and if you look up their phone number on the Internet you can also find out the latitude & longitude of the building where they are at in Chicago ,Il  I do believe the callers name is "Karesh "

Yes, but it's not fun...

You have to call your local police (non-emergency line fo course) and report it to them. they will ask you to track at least 2 dozen numbers for them to justify a report.

Take the report number to your phone company, and insist upon speaking with their annoyance call bureau. Once there give them the police report number and INSIST again they pursue. Tell the phone company you will hold them responsible should they refuse, and they will handle the rest.

Without this procedure, the phone company agrees to help you, then tells you they cannot identify the callers, and basically blows you off. WITH that report number, they are compelled by their own bylaws to get to the root of the problem, and yes, I too, only since yesterday have been barraged with over 300 calls to my business.

As for who they are, I believe they are "Payday Loan" scammers, all of them, but it is just a hunch.

Oddly, they keep asking for "Edward".  My name is not Edward and I have owned my telephone number for over 10 years.  I don't even know anybody named Edward.  If I try and explain this, they hang up on me.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.
