Received a call from QVD.  The number was 248-507-4158, which traces to Clarkston, Michigan.

No message was left by the caller

But just 1 thing thou~have u Actually been paid by them b4?? Are ya an employee or have ya workd 4 themi besides this music survey? thanks~

This qvd calls my new number almost daily. doesn't leave a msg and i answered their call to ask them to stop and when i said hello twice, a female on the other end was laughing and talking to someone (i suspect they are suprised when a human actually answers) because the moment she realized i was on the phn she Hung Up!! Wow! Nice service training hu? Anyway, tried to call them back and got msg the #was disco'd

We have been getting calls from QVD, its not this number but 832-397-6165, which tells me that QVD might be some kind of telecommunications caller ID disquise.

It also tells me that even if I block one number, they have a bunch of others.

I have seen alot of what it may be, from Tata teleservice, to survey companies, to frauds representing real companies.

The thing is, we just changed our number to an unlisted # with comcast, because we kept getting these calls, and the next day, the calls resumed under the unlisted #

So either comcast is giving numbers out to other companies, or they gave us another number that had already been used and listed by another customer, and didn't clear and block out calls from its history, or something else I haven't thought of.

How can they call if you are on the do not call list?

This appears to be survey company.They asked me about my radio listening habits and asked a few demographic questions that seemed typical.

This is a survey company. They call me a couple times a year, ask radio habits then just basic baseline questions any other survey company would ask (age range, race, etc.) they already have my info but confirm when they call. If they need a focus group with your demographics they will probably follow up. Only got called for two in the past 10 years, you listen to different music in the focus group and rate it it. Depending on how long you're there (1 or 2 hours) it pays 100-200 cash. Just hung up with them again, now unless they want me for a focus I won't get called again for a year. If you've taken a paid study or signed up for a radio promotion from a station that is paying for their services, that's where they got your info. Hope this helps! :)

got the same radio survery questions.  Some of the questions seemed over the line, as mentioned above.  Did call the number back and you get a "survey's of America", or something like that.  It's supposedly a research firm.  Dont' give accurate personal info, though. you don't know if it's a scam or not.

Caller asked me some questions regarding radio listening habits but some of the questions seemed one step over the line...probing for more than just my listening habits.
