I just got a call from this dude saying that he will file a law suit against me if I don't call him. So I called him back, he then said he is having bad signal, and that he will call me from a different number, I am still waiting on him to call me. What should I do or say when he called?

Calling and harassing me about a loan I did not take out at all.

Basically a phone call saying  I needed to return this call or have my attorney call and if I didn't then the "situation would unfold for me". ???

This person is calling my cell phone and office.

This happend to me 4 years ago, and again today.  The problem is the police know its a scam, but they cant do anything about it.  The told me last time that when they investigate the call the number leads over seas and there is nothing they could do about it.  
I asked my indian sounding guy to send me the info in the mail, and he said they do not do that.  Right there I know it was a scam.  
I just really hope they dont call the employer, just for the fact that i would have to explain that this is fake would really suck.

I keep getting calls from this number and now they are leaving threatening messages telling me to haven lawyer call them immediately or else. Next time they call I plan on calling them out plus my father is a lawyer! I may even trick them and put my husband on the phone and tell them he is a attorney. That would be awesome!

I recieve a call from them this afternoon. A different number also call me yesterday. But today I was wise I ask them do they want to speak with my lawyer next thing I knew I heard a sail tone.

This phone number has been calling me and telling me they have all my information and that i am going to be arrested . They keep harrassing me at all times

I've done with these guys once before and trust me there's nothing but a bunch of con artists don't let him fool you pull string you along they will Friedle on you they will sprint have cops come to your workand I will try to play any game with you that they cancollected that that debt. Call tyem out and see what they do its funny. There from 8ndia wnd and are not bound by our laws

I got a call from a Mike he said that either me or my attorney needed to contact him a.s.a.p.but wouldn't say what it was regarding but, did say it was time sensitive and I needed to call him immediately.

Got a call from sheppard law firm from this nomber saying i had taken a loan and bein arrested for not repaying tue loan i have never taken a loan so i laughed at this suposed allen

I received a call from the same number, they stated that I had charges against me, and then further stated that they were going to contact my current employer to have me fired immediately, and the sheriff was on their way to arrest me. I started to laugh, they asked what was so funny I said where did you get your information because I have been disabled since 2004, I have never had a loan, and I was married to a cop, and they hung up on me, and blocked my number from calling them, but they change their number and continue to call with the same stupid stuff all the time when you least expect it. Nothing I told them was true, but I am going to the FBI, and my local authority to have them investigated immediately. Thanks for this forum to keep people aware of these kind of idiots!!!!!!!!!

they told me the same thing about the sheriff coming to my house in the morning.

I would like to point out that this man did just call me again. I told him again I knew they were a scam trying to get my bank account information. He said this was a serious matter and he didn't want any money from me. Since I was refusing to call back the number he wanted to give me I was out of luck and the sheriff would be at my house in the morning. I repeatedly told this man if I owed someone something as he stated he could send me something in writing. I did close my bank account this morning and also contact my local police department, who again reiterated that the police never get involved in these matters, it is all civil if you owe someone money. They advised me to come down to the police station and file a harassment report.

I got the same message from a darrell williams but he's indian lol  when you return the call it sounds like the call is routed overseas. First off if an attorney calls you they wont give you their personal cell number you will call their main office number then you may get transfered to his cell through his office but never will they call you and leave their cell number. I returned the call the connection was so bad when he answered he said he was looking for a certain person he didnt even ask if I was the human resouces manager or department head he became very defensive and said if I didnt stop calling him he would send the police to my door 'yea right" I'll get the tea started. Dont be fooled by this gentleman. If you applied for a loan over the internet and was denied please call your bank and make them aware and close the account they have you routing number and checking account number and could possible make a withdrawl. becareful he's a scam.

I also got a call from this same number. Repeated calls to my cell and work number. The message basically stated that I needed to ignore the call and if I didn't call them back or have my attorney call then all they could do was "wish me luck". I believe this to be a scam as well. I have done significant research and no payday loan company can have you arrested for anything. It is a ploy to get them to give you your banking information. I have forwarded the information to my attorney. I was also getting calls from the same sounding voice on a different number 415-953-7351, when I called this number and told them I knew that they had been reported as a scam and did notify my attorney of their information as well, they hung up on me.

got a call at my JOB stating that i owed a loan from a company i did not know of. They could not inform me with any information. stop this company.

The same nuber called me today from "Sheppard Law Firm" . I was told that i was being arrested for a loan that i supposedly taking out with "American Cash Serivces" and did not pay. When i researched Sheppard Law Firm I found the Real law firm and called, upon calling they informed me that no such case was being handled and that the caller was not with there law firm. All in all I figure this to be a scam, but they did hold all my personal information such as bank account number routing number and so forth. If you get a call from these people please get all the info you can about them and report it. I would hate to see this continue to happen to people.
