I have family from Chicago so when I saw the 312 area code I answered. I have an aunt in critical condition and do NOT appreciate being called like this. My phone rang but as soon as I answered the called hung up. I did a reverse look up and it says its from a company called Medicom in Chicago IL.

It's a solicitation (or a fake solicitation) to enroll in Obamacare benefits. Very vague and shady outgoing message (I called them back from a different phone). Be cautious, as their "case managers" may just harvest your personal information.

Seriously! I just got this safelink phone. 312-859-7163 called me November 20th around 12:30pm. I was home. It didn't ring. I have only given the number on a report for my son's homework. I haven't used it except to make an initial call.

I have been receiving other phone calls - I got an article from internet on this - a lot of these calls are scam calls and are totally unnecessary - they are trying to catch their next "phish"!

Called for couple seconds then stopped.... Maybe they are checking to see if you'll answer and then telemarketers will bombard you with calls. I don't see a reason why they wouldn't pay someone just to verify you're answering your phone.

Like others, I did not hear my phone ring. I glanced at the face of my phone and noted that I had missed a call several minutes earlier from this number. Made no attempt to call back.

I got the same thing, I had my phone on my desk next to me. I was typing looked down and found a missed call, I call back, it was some kind of dental benefit but the guy could not hear me no matter how much I screamed !

I got a hang up call as well. I didn't even hear my phone ring/vibe, even thought it was sitting on my desk at work 2 feet from my face. Odd.
