I got a call from this number and no response.

Keeps calling my house and hanging up.

it's a mag subsciption service that wants you to renew

got a call from this number that I didn't recognize, I didn't pick up and no message was left

Daily calls on my cellphone from this number. They never leave a message.

This number came in as a Call Center?  did not leave msg, was on another line when came in.

Have no idea who these people are, or why they are bugging me. Didn't deign to leave a message.

I'm on the do not call registry, someone should shut these guys down.

You know why they dial up and hang-up before they talk to people? they are telemarketers paid by a publishing company to solicit subscribers for there technical or whatever magazine they have which are paid by advertisers. So, the telemarketer is trying to show they contacted umpteen customers so they can be paid accordingly by the publisher without putting the effort into it!

been calling me every day at 10.00am and noone there?
How can I stop this

Called from this number today, when I answered it was silent.  I stayed on the line until they hung up about 20 seconds later.  Came to 800notes, as i always do when i get strange phone calls.  

FYI... When you get these kinds of calls its best not to hang up, just put the phone on mute and let them hang up on you.  Sometimes its machines calling you to see if they get a hang up indicating its a human on the other line.  they'll eventually hangup making a note that THEY had to terminate the connection and not to try you again since there's no human on the line.  If you get a telemarketer in person just act crazy, and they usually don't call you again EVER.  Really this works... my personal favorite is pretending to sound interested but meowing and trying to carry a conversation on with meows, or the sounds that adults make on the old charlie brown cartoons.  One time someone called asking if i had money to invest.  To which i relplied... "Why yes, about a couple billion in gold bouillon as a matter of fact!".

called my CEO's number, silent when I answered and said hello several times...

Well, no such luck.  They called again today.  This time I called them back, and was able to leave a voicemail (!) with the numbers that I don't want them to call. We shall see, part 2.

Constant calls to unpublished opt out number

This company calls but usually hangs up as soon as I answer.  If I call back, I either get a message or am disconnected.  One time I answered, someone said they were with a subscription center to a magazine I used to get but no longer want.  I asked them to take me off the list, to no avail.  Now they are calling at random times, possibly to annoy or harass.

I have file a complaint about this number to www.DoNotCall.gov

I've continued to get calls from this number.  Every time I call back, it's a busy signal.  Just for grins I called 1-312-878-5651 and an automated response says that the number I called will be removed from their system after 48 hours.  We shall see.

Received a call and they didn't say anything, but you could hear people in the background mumbling.

Asked for me by name- she was calling to renew my subscription to Network World magazine.

Called my cell today and there was just background noises like whispers when I answered.

Called my "unlisted" cell phone - no message left.....

Asked for Owner of our company by name, could tell it was call center as there was no one on the the line when I answered.  Told him owner was not available and asked if he would like voice mail, he asked for an assistant or "clerical" person for Mr Blank.  Told him he could be transferred to voice mail and he wanted "to speak to a real person"  I hung up.  I also don't have time.  Caller ID said Contact Center.

Received calls form this number  comes up Contact Center  1-312-878-5650 on Caller ID.  Have no idea who this is.  Also am on Do Not Call registry. Left no message and/or hangup.

Called, couldn't get the phone in time, no message was left. tried calling the number back, just got beep beep beep, like the number was disconnected. googled the number and came to this site

SOB called my cell and hung up before could answer - no message.  as "me" above said it is a call center for a publisher claiming it complies with all laws and ethics.  I cannot see how they can claim that lie while I am on a no call list.  Said to leave a message and if the call was in error (of course it was) leave your number to be removed - ha what a joke.  The final insult was the mail box was full (probably for of peole shouting at hem like I was about too).
