Same exact info as Ken, came from the same number, same time, attempted to look like an email in the form of a text message. Definitely a scam.

Just got the same message today worried me a lil because I recently lost my wallet and assumed someone was trying to open a card in my name considering I don't have a visa and it was asking for me to validate my visa. But I agree must be a scam to get some credit card numbers be careful everyone.

I got this SMS from an unknown number outside of my area code:
3364299167¡messaging.sprintpcs.com Subject:924759 Notification #GQ09763P: Please call (312)906 7633 in order to validate your VISA card.
I actually had activated a new VISA card less than 24 hours before getting the text, so it would appear it's targeting people based on publicly available credit report information (or it was just a coincidence that it came after I had activated a new card). Either way, this is obviously a scam.

I got a call saying I had to authorize a charge on my card. I called but I did not give my debit number. I assume this is some kind of scam and if you enter your card number, you will automatically get a charge of some type on your card!!! BEWARE

Got a text message from 9193957909@messaging.sprintpcs.com which says "I N F O Alert #RD9302F1: Activation required by V.I.S.A. Please call (312)906-7633"
It's obviously a scam. 919 is my local area code. I called 919-395-7909 and got a voice message saying "the number or code you have called is incorrect."
