TRANSWORLD SYSTEMS/NCO GROUP. TELL THEM TO REMOVE YOUR PHONE NUMBER AND ADDRESS AND NEVER CONTACT YOU AGAIN. OTHERWISE, THEY WILL CALL YOU EVERY OTHER DAY TWO TO FOUR TIMES WITH THEIR DIALER. MANAGERS THERE FEEL LIKE THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH BUGGING YOU BECAUSE MOST PPL DON'T REPORT THEM TO THE STATE OF MI AND FCC.

They are a particularly aggressive group of blood-thirsty collection agents. They will ruin your credit and hunt you down like a dog. They will leave your financial future in shambles for generations to come. They do not care about you, your health, your familiy or your situation. They are dogs! Have you received a message like this:

"HI, this is NCO and we're calling because we see some recent activity in your credit report. Please call us back so's we can "help" you." Then they leave some farkin 800 number. I hope you have not fallen for that foolishness, have you?

NCO and all collection companies are not governmental agencies at all. They p[retend to have some authority, but they have NONE! The credit buearus are BUSINESSES not governmental agencies. Wake up! Don't be afraid of these bullies. They are nothing but sales people turned inside out. Their job is simply to get as much money out of you as quickly as they can. They will lie, steal, threaten and use every trick in the book.

You see after your debt with whoever was not paid after a certain amount of time is was "charged-off". What that mean? It means it was paid by the government in many (not all) instances. What happens then? Well, then collection sharks like NCO buy your debt for 10 cents on the dollar.

How does this work? It is like investing (or gambling) for them. Whatever money they can get from you over the 10 cents they paid is PURE PROFIT for them. So whether you pay your debt all the way down with them with interest of without they still make a hefty profit. Nice racket, eh?

You don't actually owe them anything. Do you realize that? If you are silly enough to actually talk to them or send them even so much as a dime, you have just "validated" the debt with them. That's how they get you. In today's era of voicemail & caller ID I cannot see how anyone would ever fall for getting on the phone with these vampires. I NEVER speak with them--NEVER! And I NEVER will. They can't force you to deal with them. You've absolutely NO OBLIGATION to NCO or any other collections-racket.

Let's put them out of business and let their debts rack up and up and up. Then they will get a taste of their own medicine.

If we ALL do this on a regular basis to every company that sends out such annoying calls we can shut their sorry a**es down!

No message, this is an collection agency in Detroit, MI   very aggressive.

it is DTE, but it's an automatize system which is the reason you are getting the busy signal when attempting to call the number back. the reason a message is not being recorded in many cases is the automatize message begins the moment your phone is answered and if your greeting is longer than the message, the message would have ended by the time the recording would have started.

yeah, it's happened to me as well!

for those of you having problems, DTE is willing to work with you. call and see if you can be put on their payment plan. it's helped me out a couple of times.

They keep calling but never leave a message. I don't answer calls if I don't know the number. Thats what voice mail is for. Leave a message and if I know you, I'll call you back.

I paid my bill in FULL over a week ago (yes, it was a whopper and I was severely late in paying) however, as I said, I paid it nine days ago and am still getting calls from this number.  When I phone DTE and follow the prompts, my account is current.  SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO aggravating as they call ALL DAY LONG!

these people call A LOT! just pay your bill and they will stop :-)

I don't think it's an aggressive collection agency. I think it's just DTE Energy. I'm late on my bill and they keep calling.

They called 4 times already, first call came at 8:03 am, then at 9:30 am, 10:17 am. and just now at 11:14 am.  They will not leave a message, and when I pick up the phone, they just hang up.  It is becoming more than annoying at this point.  If it is DTE Energy, then screw them, because I called them directly yesterday to have someone come out to check my meter, and they are coming out tomorrow.

Got a call from them at 8:00 a.m., left no message.  I tried to call them back from a different phone once I wasn't driving anymore & it was a constant busy signal.  They had left an automated message stating that I must call them back today.

Called at 8:15am, left no message.

This agency is so aggressive they have the nerve to leave messages stating that you must call back... that it's a very important message from DTE Energy. It should be illegal for them to impersonate utility companies!!
