These are calls outside of normal business hours and on Sundays. Inappropriate.

Evening (incl. Sunday) calls; no messages; hangups. Usually multiple calls on same date, e.g., last night (Sunday, 4/6/08)this genius called three times, the last at 8:57 pm. These calls have been coming periodically for about a year.I picked up once several months ago and the caller, who sounded weird, asked me if I had any used furniture to donate. I hung up. Bizarre. And shady. AK Hake is listed at 9409 Eucalyptus Drive, St. Louis MO 63123...in case the police in that jurisdiction want to drop by and explain the consequences of aggravated harrassment.

Called 9:30 am 4/7/08 and asked for me by courtesy title and surname. I asked who was calling. Female caller hesitated, then said "Help Hospitalized Veterans" and asked if I had "furniture, clothing or used household goods to donate". I said I didn't and wanted to be removed from her call list. She hung up. Help Hospitalized Veterans is listed at 12926 New Halls Ferry Rd, STL 63033 314-837-1244; and 6121 Wells Ave STL 314-389-5115.

They call multiple times over and over all times of day of the evening. My id says A K Hake, when I spoke with the lady she said she represented the Veterans to pick up donated clothing. I looked up the Help Hospitalized Veterans and there is nothing on their site that talks about donating clothing. When she originally called I thought she was from the VVA (which is genuine). When she called again to verify pickup I asked her if she was going to leave a receipt and she claimed they would. I put my bags out today to see if I would get a receipt and there was nothing there, or anywhere in sight. I believe this is a scam I am going to send a e-mail to the HHV to let them know someone is impersonating them and lodge a complaint with the local police department.

Several calls a day for over a week.  No message.  When I call back, it's busy.  Bordering on harrassment, the calls are even on weekends, Sundays.

Hake  who is calling for clothing donations for hospitalized veterans.  I asked why she never leaves a message and she said because no one ever calls her back.  I asked that she not call me and she didn't for about 6 months.  She's calling again.

I keep getting call at home with no message left. Right now it is 10:15 AM on a Sunday morning. I work from home so do not answer calls I don't recognize on my Caller ID or no message is left. These are annoying and frequent. I wish they would stop. I have now blocked them from my phone.

The caller is persistently calling with no messages.  I want it to stop.

It's not an investment company.  It's a lady calling about picking up clothing donations for the hospitalized veterans.  I receive several calls a month from her.

I got a call about 12:00 noon today from 314-631-8255.  They left no message.  I called them back, and the phone was busy.

I keep getting the same thing.  Next time I'm going to answer and see what they have to say.

he keeps calling 2,3,4 times a day and i looked it up in my phonebook and it`s a resident close by who is an innocent person who has no idea what to think!!! i suggest calling the attorney general.

Keeps calling twice a day, never leaves a message.  Sounds familiar.

Now that I think about it, I also get calls from 1-800-755-7760 which is a collection agency. (See my notes at http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-800-755-7760). They're trying to track down someone who used to live at this address.

I'll bet the collection agency, Berlin-Wheeler Inc., has simply programmed their phone system to provide a false caller ID and number (I saw it done on 20/20). So in a sense, they've hijacked Tom Hake's caller ID. I'm sure the FCC would love to to know about this, if it can be substantiated.

Calls have resumed recently.  This is quite an end run around no call list, calling from a home number. When I reported the last series of calls to the no call lists they stopped immediately, but have just resumed. 7/06 8:52pm and 7?10 8:40 am.

    Are you claiming that the 314-631-8255 number that keeps making the harassing calls is not a number of anyone affilliated with your company or business in any way? and that the calls are not made for your benefit in any way? Curious because the number shows up as belonging to a member of your company.
