This is a call center for Bankers Conseco Life, they hire firms from Asia and India because it is cheaper. They are a legtimate insurance company. The have the number set with a caller ID to make it look like a local call.

Apparently this "person" has nothing better to do than harass people. Same thing happened to me today, she called 3x and left no message. I tried to call back to see who it was and her voicemail seems to be full. i would recommend no one answers when they see this number.

I updated my Monster and Careerbuilder yesterday and got a call from this number (ID was RNK TELECOM-ROC) just a few mins ago. I didn't answer and they left no vm. As with all you other fine folks, I have NOTHING to do with selling ANYTHING. I am in a technical specialty...we avoid people, not try to sell them anything...lol

I got a call this morning from her....I posted my resume on Monster yesterday (and previously) and she said she had a job for me at Conseco also.  Apparently, she didn't bother to read my resume!  Thanks, everyone:)

I also just put my resume on monster.com a few days ago- I was so surprised to get a call related to it! I also spoke to a woman with some sort of accent, asking if I was still looking for a position. However I'm still in college, won't graduate until May- something this 'company' would have noticed if they'd actually looked at my information! The conversation didn't go much further than that. So glad I found this page.

I set up an interview for this morning at 10am but I am not going because I as well feel this is a scam. I tried calling 315-478-0783, the number listed for the Syracuse office, and the phone rings twice and goes to a busy signal immediately. I as well spoke with an Asian women.
This is not the fist time I have received calls like this, usually I turn them right down.

All these posts are good to read - I got the same Asian woman, and also only posted my resume on monster.com yesterday. I don't even think I got to the point where I listed any of my previous experience! I won't be calling them back.

Oops - correction to above - she called my home...my wife was the one who texted (Friday afternoon, my brain is checked out!)  In any case, this # is alive and well. My wife said she (the Asian lady) sound like she's siad this 150 times already today, like a robot/recording.

Much like others here, just posted my resume on Monster 2 days ago, and got a text on my phone saying to call.  Came up as "RNK Tele Roc...".  Glad folks here posted. I don't sell....anything :)

I do not accept unsolicited calls

Just got this call today. I had updated my resume on Monster over the weekend. I'm really glad I googled this number. Now I'm definitely not returning the call. It's the Asian woman that's impossible to understand. I'm surprised I understood the number as she repeated it back on the message. I verified it on the envelope info for the call. I only figured out it was Bankers Canseco from the other posts here. I couldn't make out what the Asian woman said but I'm pretty sure that was it after seeing it here.

My resume on monster was for 2nd or 3rd shift work as a nurse or in IT (dual degrees) ... I believe that Bankers Conseco hired this company to recruit for them and the seneca falls business is just calling every resume they can get their hands on.

Bankers Conseco does have a legitimate address at that location in syracuse (344 West Genesee St. Ste 102) and the number in the email does go there. If you're interested in banking then by all means, but my gut tells me this is some 100% commission job that may sell or may not... feels scamish.

Also just posted my resume on monster.com and this company called me. I talked to an Asian woman asking if I wanted to be a manager, or banker or something...she was really had to understand. But I am a meteorologist. Not really sure about this company, but I am not going to visit them for an interview. :-\ I think the company was called Bankers Conseco, but again, she was like impossible to understand.

I got a call from this number today. I just posted my resume on Carerrbuilder.com yesterday. I returned their call. They did not say what the business was. Nor did I ask. I have an appointment to meet with them on Tuesday. I received an email from Bankers Conesco about an hour before the initial phone call this morning. I have just recently received an email from them confirming my appointment. I really do not know why they want me to sell life insurance. I think that I will go to the appointment and see what they are all about before I make any decisions. Not too keen on selling insurance though.

I got the call today, and waiting to receive their email as well. Anyone traveled to their claimed office location in Syracuse for the appointment yet? If you did, please share with us what happened. Thanks.

I had just registered with Monster and the asian women called me the next day. Stating from Bankers Conseco. At least that is what it sounded like. I will wait to see the email before I decide what action to take.  Did you set up amn appointment?

Caller also told me they found my reume on career builder.com   The Indian sounding man wanted me to sell life insurance for them even though my reume is clearly all construction related fields.  WTF?

This number is from some "business" claiming that they want to train me to be an account executive for their "bank". Originally this company contacted me through careerbuilder.com and said they were interested in me because of my resume. I have no experience in banking or accounting. So obvious scam. I didn't let the asian sounding lady finish before I hung up, when she insisted that she was calling from Syracuse,NY but my caller ID says She is calling from Seneca Falls,NY.
