Do not call this number back! They call and hang up and leave no message so if you call back they can charge a toll fee to your phones account. 20 bucks a frickin call!

Per the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act) you should NOT pay any caller who refuses to MAIL a debt validation letter showing that (1) you owe a debt and that (2) they have the legal right to collect said debt.  Refusal to mail this DV letter is a violation of federal law.  BTW, debt is civil, not criminal, so no one would be arrested for failure to pay back a loan.  Your callers are foreign scammers - they deliberately get people worked up because intimidation scares many people into paying these bogus debts.  More info on this scam here:

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim?s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims? relatives, friends, and employers.

This company called from315-282-5848 it was an indian man allegedly named david miller who told me I owe a thousand dollars. Since I had previously owed a co for a payday loan I assumed it was legit at first.my wife about had a nervous breakdown, and ended up crying for hours out of fear that I was going to be arrested over this debt that was thought to be 200 and had jumped to over a thousand.the man said fines were put in place.after much questioning from him about myself,situation,previous "frauds" that I was adamently denying he said I could make a payment of 500.00 today but if not the police weregoing to be coming to my job on monday.I looked up the name david miller criminal justice law service and there were several judges and criminal defense attys I knew he wasn't either so I looked up the name of criminal justice and law service which brought me here.thank god I found out this was a scam because I was ready to run for the border over a 200 mistake that was in itself a scam wheel!!!!

I got a call from them earlier today with the attorney thing as well, i initially hung up. 20 minutes later i asked for an explaination for what the call was for and they hung up on me as well. after i called again and they just never picked up, some law firm huh? thank god for places like this posting forum. some people would have spilled all their gut cause they were afraid

The same Company also has this number - 315-282-5848. They are Scammers. Exactly correct that the number is an Auburn,NY number- it's the same scammers that called my cell number last year . They leave a recording for you to contact your attorney- you have to return their call immediately or you will go to jail, & god have mercy on you, & the best of luck. They are too stupid!!! I got a call from them at work & asked the thick dialect Indian man for his name- name of his company- his company address- & when I asked for his supervisor's name he began cussing at me- I hung up. If he had stayed on the line I would have told him I was reporting him to the FTC & my local police department.

I called the number.  It's a recording of a foreign person of a business I can't understand.  The 315-282-0932 is a decoy.  The call is being forwarded to a 3rd world country all they want is your money.  Do not talk to anyone at this number.

Same here.  I keep getting calls from this number too.  Who are you and why are you wasting time calling people you don't even know?  Stop calling me and find something else to do with your time.  The number is from Auburn, NY a land line with Choice One Communications.  You call and don't leave any messages.

I  keep getting calls from this number at all times of the day, several times a day. They leave no message. I is very frustrating when this happens. If they want me to talk to them, leave me a message. Does anyone know who it is? The yellow pages says it is a land line from Auburn, NY.
