All:  UPDATE - We previously believed that Positive Energy was spoofing a number owned by Broadvox and assigned to a reseller customer.  
We now believe that rather than spoofing Broadvox?s number, Positive Energy?s telemarketers were actually using the Broadvox phone number to contact people on the Do Not Call List.  
From our perspective, the actions of Positive Energy?s telemarketers in contacting people on the Do Not Call List are equally (if not more) outrageous, whether Broadvox?s number was spoofed or not.

Since I began keeping a record of the calls on 6/4/2012, I have received 10 calls. I have recorded the dates and times.  Once I called back preceding the number with a numeral "1" and spoke with a man claiming he was in Atlanta, GA. If he receives enough calls like this maybe he will get frustrated and insist they stop.

The caller said they were from Positive Energy and asserted that they are "PECO's energy supplier" and wanted to confirm that I'm receiving the discount to which I'm entitled.  I work for PECO and know that the company does not endorse any specific energy supplier.  I would personally never choose an electric supplier who opens their marketing pitch with a lie.  To find the best supplier for you, visit the PA Public Utility Commission's official site at www.papowerswitch.com.

I received a call from this number today stating they were from a company called Positive Energy.  They said I am entitled to a 20% reduction on my Peco bill (my current electric provider) but I had to ask for the reduction they could not just give it to me.  He then proceeded to tell me in order to receive the discount I had to verify the information on my current Peco bill.  At this point I assumed it was some sort of scam to get my information to maybe switch my provider so I ended the call.  This number has been calling my home for months several times a day yet never leaving a message.

If you are called by a company wanting to sell you cheaper energy rates.  Its positive energy - here is their address and phone #.

Please contact them and let them know you no longer wish to be called.

Here is the another email I received from Positive Energy regarding the calls from 3154070040 in which I asked if they were using telemarketers using that number.  
I hope this solves this problem for me and others who need the problem solved should email Positive Energy and Wendy Fedor is the Complaints Administrator.

I asked to be taken off their lists with DNC and she responded she would and sorry.

I called the attorney and got a call back that that is not their number.  He was very nice and said it was spooling......so then I got an email from Public Energy located in CT and they removed me from their telemarking lists because I told them I wanted to be removed.  So the two contacts listed did respond.  Hope this ends the problem.  Very annoying.

Constant calls from this number.....leave a message on my answering machine with the sound of "ma" then hang up.  Every day, several times a day.  Very annoying.

How many times does this company need to call.  No answer, they just hang up.

Calls me almost everyday. Decided to answer and find out about these guys.

Wanted to switch me from my electricity supplier by giving me a lower generation rate. I wanted more info in writing, before doing that. Would not help me in this regard. Looked up on the web and shows address at 751 Straits Tpke #2 Middlebury, CT 06762. However, 2 lines below shows a listing from the BBB and shows that they are not BBB accredited and there is a government action against this company. If you try to call them back at the 315-407-0040 you get the disconnected message. Sounds like a company that I would want to do business with - NOT!

I don't even understand why I should be receiving these types of phone calls.  My number is on a "DO NOT CALL" list.   I called back the number.  It stated that the number was not in service.

Second call today from this number. No message left. After second call, I called back and received message that number is not in service.

SICK of this number - no one ever on the other end.  You can't call back, as a redial "is not in service".

Ugh. Yet another Unknown Name caller that doesn't leave a message. I get SO many of these, it's a circus act juggling and blocking them all. Can only block 10 numbers at a time. I'm getting a whistle.
