I just called the day before to get a quote from Public Storage so I am guessing that may make sense. No Voicemail just missed the call.

No, I'm not the Robert referred to in the above post. I accidentally called Public Storage 800 number and hung up. A few minutes later i was called from this number twice. No voicemail. I think it is Public Storage.

I got a call this morning from this number, the person on the other end said that he was still on hold from a call that came from my number and was waiting for Robert.  I tried to explain to him that I never called that number and that there is no person by the name of Robert at this number, he kept repeating "just tell Robert that I am still waiting".  I strongly believe that this is a collection company, they use trickery and spoofed phone numbers in this case a number belonging to Interactive Intelligence company who probably makes their call center software.  I have contacted Law Enforcement about the harassing and threatening calls from spoofed numbers and was advised to maintain a good record of the calls for tracking and prosecution.  I am keeping a record of the calls for prosecution. These people are basically invading the privacy of law abiding citizens, they must not be allowed to get away with it.

This IS NOT FROM public storage I called them and they stated that this IS NOT usual customer service and none of the account TS notate this phone call so it is Not legitimate! !!

It IS Public Storage.  I called yesterday to seek a price reduction on a storage unit (in CALIFORNIA), and this callback came today.  Why is this callback coming from Indiana, area code 317?

Let me make it clear & simple:  If i don't recognize the callers Tel ID i simply don't answer and merely let my voice mail answer. If the caller doesn't leave a message and/or a message i don't understand, then i suspect it0s a phony call and thus i do absolutely nothing about it. I don't conduct any business over the phone and accept only mail letters.. If it's Public Storgae phoning then they should advertise their caller ID as Public Storage and not some company i never heard of !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.  

As a matter of concern, I record all incoming phone call numbers to a log sheet to use in law-suit applications as evidence of frequent calling--as advise my Lawyer.. On average it take about 2 years to filter thur the court system usually with a settlement made out-of- court. Better than 50 % of time it goes nowheres because of out of state technicalities,etc

I recieved a call from this number too and when I called the number back I got the same message "Jeannine" from above recieved.  I realized that it was a callback from "Public Storage" customer service department.  When I was on hold instead of waiting for a representative it asked if I'de like a call back and I selected the call back option.  Although when they called, I was on another call and sent them to voice mail and they did leave a message.  So for me that number was from "PUBLIC STORAGE" customer service department.  If all of you have a storage unit with them, that's why your getting calls from them.

They claim to be a collection agency.I am trying to see if the agency is a scam. They are called Accounts Reciveable Technologies...
