Answered them in Spanish. Guy was speechless. Guess he didn't entienda the Espanol. Then they called back with a spanish speaking scammer. So... No habla Espanol Senor. They finally gave up.

I just got a call from the same number. It's from Indiana and I live in Texas and don't know anyone from that state. Odd.

A boiler room is using this number to spill out crap.

called  them  on a  untraceable line....got a  "  call  center"..........clearly  seems  to  be  some  scam....female  on the other end  seemed  really  NOT  to know  what  the   heck was  going  on  !!!!
(  couldn't  answer  some  basic  simple  questions )

These frustrating calls led me to turn off the ringer on my phone.  Messages go to the answering machine.  These SPAM/SCAM callers hang up without leaving a message, but I can see their ID on the phone identifier.  I've tried to call back, but for the most part the number does not exist or inbox is full or some such jargon appears.
If only.... they used that energy for something worthwhile.
Consumer advocates tell us to answer the phone, ask for the callers name--spell it, phone number and address.  IF they reply, tell them you are notifying the FCC that they are violating the rules of the DO NOT CALL advisory.  If they call again, you will turn them in to be fined.
In order to turn them in it is necessary to have the date, time of call and callers details.  Lots of luck getting that info!

They have called me several times, left messages. I have told them not to call back several times. They just called, I answered by saying"take this number off your call list". The guy couldn't take no for an answer, every time he spoke, I just repeated, take this number off my list. I told him I had all day to do this, he hung up after I just quit answering him. Next time, I will take the phone in the aviary and let him speak to my birds.

Got a call from this number, no message left. Called them back and they answered "Author Learning Center". I spoke to a "consultant" (it was a boiler room, I could hear lots of noise in the background) and he said (with an Indian accent) "You don't want to write a book?" I said I didn't ask for informaton and told him to remove me from their calling list. The guy said he would (I'll only believe that when they don't call anymore.)

This is from a vendor for scientific instruments.

Received one today and didn't pick up.  I don't want to continue getting these calls.

They keep calling and calling my cell phone, talking about some garbled CRAP. I think it was self-publishing or some stupid get rich quick scheme. In any case, I wish the calls and the voicemails would STOP. I really don't want to pick up my phone and waste my minutes telling them to buzz off, but looks like I'll have to!
