The company may be legitimate. What is NOT legitimate and IS scamming is that they have called me and left a message making it sound AS IF THEY WERE MY merchant services provider, and they want to come and and explain why there has been a recent rate increase. Increasingly annoying, Brigitte at 855-270-9974 7196 marked the phone call as URGENT in our voice mail.
I'll be right on that. I trust and admire companies that start out with a false pretense to me.

Wow! This is MY extension. (By the way, thanks for the 'nice guy' comment.) We DO offer an Annual Merchant rate Review. There is NO charge. The gentleman I would send to you does exactly what I tell you he will when I speak to someone. I do understand the frustration people have dealing with some of these other companies. This makes my job much more difficult. I cannot tell you how many times we review an account - find it healthy - report our findings to the merchant - and then walk away, no pitch, no tricks. This is what we do.
While I get the distrust because I became aware of what some other companies say, I thought I'd respond. Let?s say ? for the sake of argument ? you were our customer. Further, let?s say we did a review of your account with us. Then let?s say we found ? honest to God ? you were doing REALLY well. So well, there is nothing that could be improved. How would you know we were telling you the truth? Wouldn?t you think a company would say that just to keep your business? If we tell you the same thing and you are NOT our customer, then you?d KNOW, wouldn?t you?
Just something to think about.

Are you serious Becky?! OMG!!! If you go to merchant services website, the number they want you to call them back on isn't even on the company's website! They are NOT from Merchant Services! This is a total SCAM and they are misrepresnting the company they are with. Get your head out of the clouds!!!

How is this a scam ? i dont understand ... This company has been in business over 15 years , they have helped thousands of merchants lower there cost for processing ... you shop around for car insurance dont you ? this isnt any different ... having you fax in the statement is to help the rep become more prepared for meeting with you and making sure they can offer you the lowest price possible ... and if there are excessive overchargers YOU WILL IN FACT BE RE IMBURSED

855 270 9974 ex 7815 Merchant Services Inc. Blind cold call. Guy wanted to set up a time where one of his representatives would drop by our office for our annual review of our merchant acct fees/services. Nice guy who needs the work, but the company pulled my info from a public source that has only attracted scammers, snake oil sales men, and over-all scum bags. We have/had no relationship with this company. It was a thinly vailed sales call. For that alone, I would never give them the time of day, much less let them know anything about our finances.

Diane from 317-456-5319 called and said she was from Merchant Services. She said she wanted to make us aware that there was a possible reimbursement for the increase that had taken effect on 10/1/2011. The notice should have been sent out with the December statement but most of their merchants did not receive it. She needed to go ahead and go over that with them. She gave her toll free number to call her back at 855-270-9974 Ext 7043. When you speak with her she wants you to fax a copy of your latest credit card Paymentech report to her attention at 949-313-0947 for Chad to review. Then Chad would be in the area on Friday this week to review. This is a SCAM!!!
