Yes..I fell for this too, but since I told them that I wasn't sending anymore money and I contacted a lawyer they have quit calling. They were using the numbers 319-228-0159 and 319-228-0163.  I have posted these numbers on this site as well.

I got the same call a month ago.  Then, again yesterday.  This time I called the guy back and told him to call my attorney(an attorney friend of mine). He never did and will not of course. These guys should burn in hell!  Also, the first time he called he called me @ work and then he was Officer Alex from the Division of Crime!

I would call them back to find out what is going on. I asked my sister if she knew any attorney who does pro bono work and she said no, unfortunately. have you tried "googling" for information on attorney's who would consider handling her case pro bono or for reduced rate. I don't know what her situation is but i'm just tossing out some ideas that could probably help. Well, I really hope things work out for you and your wife though. just keep trying, hopefully something will pop up for you guys.

Well they tried calling me again today and asked me what I planned on doing and that I had not returned a phone call to them.  I told him this is what I planned on doing about this, "I want your badge number, the name, address, and FAX number of his company."  He asked me why I need that and I told him I just needed to verify information on my end.  He then explained why do I need to verify when I owe the money.  I told him I don't owe him nothing and that his company was a scam and I demand for the information and then he told me so you say we are a fraud, and I said yes.  He said my information is going to be turned over and have a nice day and he hung up on me.

I then went home pissed through the roofs.  I called them like 9 times and got very irrate and demanded their information and they tell me one time the Mark Henry guy was in a meeting and then the next time he has gone home for the day.  What is ironic is when the guy I was talking too saying he went home for the day said Customer Service.  When I asked him for the information he said he can not give that to me that it was illegal and I would have to call back tomorrow.  As I told him in not so nice words that if you work in Customer Service as I have done now for 15 years anyone has access to computer files if they are a reputable company and he hung up on me after I said I had recorded the whole conversation and he says I am recording this too.  Man oh man I can not wait for the Tennesse Attorney General office to call me tomorrow.

So just to let everyone know I am not going to stop with this until I find out who this is and take these people to the courtroom.  I am tired of people being frauded especially now that it has happened to me, which has just blown my top off.  So if it is ok, I am reporting this to the local police department tomorrow and will send these postings to my attorney to show others have been affected by this company especially the lady that was taken for $8000.

Yes we have called Memphis Legal Aid and are still waiting for someone to call us back and this has been three weeks now and we have about three more weeks before she has to go back to court and it is going to probably be without legal counsel since we can not find anyone.

Hey, no problem. my sister is not licensed in Arkansas but she is in minnesota. Have you tried your local legal aide office or try calling 211 (First call for help) either one of these places could probably give you some resources to finding the help you are looking for for you wife. Good luck.

I called the number back that someone left me and told him that I had contaced our police department, which I had and I needed his badge number and full name, the name of the person I supposedly owed money to and thier phone number.  He said he did not have a number and I told him the police offices name that would be calling him and he told me I would get no more calls, and I haven't.

wannaknowwhy thank you very much for this information.  They tried calling me again today and I did not answer the phone as I was working.  I have talked with an attorney as well and they told me the same thing in trying to get the information or have them call the attorney and they will dispute it.

I will call the attorney general tomorrow and I will also go and make a report to the local police department.  Thank you for all of your assistance.  Also if your sister has a license to work in Arkansas please tell her I would love to talk to her about another matter if she will work payment arrangements or ProBono or if she knows an attorney in Arkansas.  Need one bad for my wife.

Hello. yeah. he said that they were going to send an investigator to my place of employment to pick me up. so i told him to hold on and that i was going to record the call. (which i did) i put him on speaker and then i asked him to continue talking then he hung up on me and i haven't heard back from him. i asked him for documentation and he said they can't send anything until i made a payment. it is illegal for them to threaten with jail time. that is why i recorded the call. if they call me again i will record him again. but he would not tell me also who the original creditor was. if they call you again FIRST tell him you are recording the call and you were advised to get some information from him: the name and number of the original creditor; the name, address, and fax number for the company he works for. My sister (who is a lawyer) said that is what to do because you can sue them for harrasment and illegal collection practices. The funniest thing was about this whole thing that i found really ironic was that he claimed to be a sargeant with the same last name as mine. lol....

I too have recently dealt with this.  They too said they had all of my information and read it to me everything saying that it was from a payday loan.  When I asked who it was from, he just kept replying U.S. National Bank.  They keep calling me every day again and I do not know what to do.  Does anyone have any information they can share.  They keep trying to insist on sending an investigator to pick me up.

Hi. Im having the same issue with these folks. Did they start saying something to you like you are going to be picked up and brought to jail? and threats of that nature. well, my sister told me to send them a do not contact (cease and desist) letter. (she's an attorney) but when i tried to get the address and/or fax number they won't give it to me.  These same people told me they were from US National bank. They also told me they were sargeants so when i asked for their badge number he gave me some goofy looking number that didn't look like a real badge number. i asked him if he worked for the police department (because i was going to call and verify) he quickly said no. then i just told him then you are not a seargent. but i will continute to record them if they keep calling me because it is illegal to threaten people like they did us and we will have grounds to sue them if they do. just record your calls with them.

I got a call from this same company and they claim to work for us national bank in IA but every person i talked to had a heavey indian or eastern overseas accent. they started making threats they also had some of my information (that i did not verify). When i asked the guy if they can send me some documentation on why they were calling he told me i had to make a payment first. when i asked for who the original creditor was he would not give me the information but kept on demanding payment. since making threats of jail is illegal i began to record the phone calls. so when he called me the last time i told him that before i made a payment with him I would need some information from him. i need the original creditor info, his name and the company name that he works for along with the company address and fax number. he then told me no problem then hung up on me. and he never called me back.

My caller ID shows 1-000-024-110 and leave 319-228-0157 as a call back number.  The guy has a heavy Indian accent and is making threats.  But it's kind of hard to believe him as he starts laughing half way through the message.  Then he says that if I don't call back, then I should have my attorney call him.  I have dealt with this type of call before, it is a scare tactic and there is not much that they can do.  He calls up to 3 times a day, Does anyone know how I can contact them to make them stop calling?  Thanks
