They keep calling me 2-3 times a day and dont' say anything or leave a message when i don't answer, its getting old fast i'm going to go them blocked

we only anwsered twice. once by me and once by my husband and we have not ansered it since. but it still rings in. and my ringer doesn't shut off.

These people are from CBE Collection Agency.  They are looking when they call my work cell no other for someone named Whitney Harvey I have told them lots of time this is a law firms phone not someone named whitney, they won't listen and don't know how to update there system.  If anyone has any way to get them to quit running minutes up on my work cell that would be great I don't know whitney.

Call 3-4 times a day. No message. Caller ID is from Waterloo IA.

They keep calling and don't leave a message.  Why would I answer a number I don't recognize.  Besides the fact it cost me airtime to answer.  If they left a message with a reason I might call them back or answer the phone.  Pleasae block them from calling my cell.

Called here several times a day.  They refuse to tell me who they are and what they want.  They are total jerks on the phone.  Make this a FORMAL COMPLAINT and Block this caller if possible from calling my house.  Thank You-

Use your head. Make sure your number is registered with the do not call registry www.donotcall.gov
and then file a complaint with the FTC www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov and your State Attorney Generals websites respectively.

This is turning expensive because these calls come on my cell phone and I'm charged $1.20 for each call even if I don't answer the phone.

I have been receiving 2-3 calls a day from this CA.  They have called me as late as 8:40 PM.  I have never answered when they called.  I called them back once and received an automated answering service.  They said they are the CBE Group.  The the message went on saying according to the phone number I am calling from, they are speaking to some David guy at some address I've never heard of in a zip code I haven't lived in for over two years.  I've done some research on this CA, and there are a lot of complaints from people all over the country saying that the CBE Group has called them looking for someone else, or called them attempting to collect a debt that they do not owe.  I know I don't owe any debt, so they probably just have the wrong number.

I used to get calls from a very similar number. When I reported that number this one started calling me. The first number called once a day. This one calls MULTIPLE times a day, and neither ever leave a message.

THIS HAS CALL MY HOME .. WHY

CBE Group has offices all over, but the number referred to here is in Waterloo, IA and they are a legit company.  They do debt collecting for several companies including Student Loan offices and Dish Network.  They are licensed in all 50 states and are a prominent debt collector.  I live in Waterloo, don't like them, but get calls from them and actually have friends that work there.

Its a computer generated phone system I believe that changes the number up from time to time with different area codes.  Just do what I do, Answer it and don't say anything for 5 seconds, then hang up.  It usually works.  And how do you set your phone to ignore it?
