I get called at least once a day from this number.  When I answer there is a recording saying "this call may be monitored for quality assurance...please hold for the next available operator".  I hang up immediately.  I try to check the number on my phone when it rings and if I see that number, I just don't answer.

Calls my home phone at least two or three times a day.  I never answer the calls, I let my answering machine answer.  Whomever this is they are probally telemarketers.  All the caller ID says is "Minnesota".

They have called my home at least 4 times a week asking for my daughter, when I tell the she is at work they say they will try back again later.  They also say that my daughter said that they could call my phone number.  They then will ask me if there is another number that they can reach her at.  I tell them I can not give her number out because I don't know who they are because they will not tell me where they are call from.

I just received a phone call from this number this morning....first time ever....no message was left by them. I figure its not that important if they dont leave me a message. I dont answer numbers I dont know. I just tried to call the number back and the message that I got was "THANK YOU FOR CALLING JEFFERSON CAPITAL L.L.C. PLEASE WAIT FOR THE NEXT AVAILABLE REPRESENTATIVE. TO CONTINUE IN ENGLISH PLEASE PRESS ONE..." then I hung up cause I still dont know what they are. Just thought that I would share!

Jefferson Capital is a Debt Collector For credit cards I have spoke to them before about paying off a credit card debt with another company then they offer you a new offer when you pay off the other card to "jump" start your credit I get calls from this number 3 and 4 times a day I just dont answer.

Get calls daily from this # at my work.  Leave no msg. rather annoying.  I believe it is a collection agency for cc.  I am in process of filing bankruptcy and have told them this, but do they update their database(if they even have one)? No, they just keep calling and annoying us.  Lawyer says they aren't supposed to keep calling, so I have reported but to no avail.  I wish there was some better way to stop harassing calls.

I get calls everyday several times no message.

Just received a call from this number and it is 9:00 am on Saturday morning.  I didn't answer, since I did not recognize the number.  They did not leave a message, but I do know that they are close to the area I live in as the same area code.  Since I have read other posts, now I know who it is, but I still will not answer it, since I do not owe on any credit cards or the like.

I guess these companies just call any body they can

Oh yeah, they keep asking for a guy named DAVID COOK.  (**the singer?**).  I am NOT David Cook, obviously.

Just got a NEW phone and number a week ago through T-Mobile.  This number called, did not say anything.  As I was hanging up, a voice (sounded recorded) started yappin'.  

Bills are ALWAYS paid on time.

This number belongs to Jefferson Capital LLC who seems to have a predilection for calling my cell phone, at the most inopportune times.  I have had my cell number for over four years and continually. They are trying to reach a person I have never heard of and always promise to remove my number from the list. I think debt collectors are crack w***es without the dignity.

Received a call from this number...and I have a non=pub number.  My credit report shows I owe Jefferson Capital LLC $514....I don't owe them or anyone else a dime.....what gives with this company?????

Called and left no message - I called back and it is Jefferson Capital LLC; they are a firm that purchases old debts from consumer credit lines, for example the reason they were contacting me is they purchased a very old Target credit card balance and have a "fresh start" program where they issue you a credit card with the past due balance on it; of course you earn a lot of interest, but at least it takes it off of your credit report and if you pay it off a quickly as possible you can cancel the card. This works if you're not tempted to charge anything further to the card as you pay down your old debt. Not I'm not an employee; just wanted to let everyone know what the company does and what they told me. Thanks!

This number calls me at least 6 times a day.  I dont answer calls I dont know.  They never leave a message so i will continue not answering their calls.  I figure if it was legitimate they would leave a message.  There are several numbers they use.  320-229-8430, 320-229-8460

This number has called me since I got my new cell phone. The man will ask for Kelly and when I explain they have the wrong number tehy will apologize. Then they call a few days later same routine!!
