I do not have an account with this company. Never has. They call every day several times a day asking for somebody I don't know, never met. They just don't get it.

They are trying to verify the purchase and that you got everything that you were promised.  It is weird how people are so afraid to answer their phone these days.

High Quality Water sales man (Eric) was selling us on a soft water unit include soaps and cleaning products for 4 years and stated that if bought the unit it be $108 month for 5.5 years, total price of $4990 +tax.  We agreed to purchase the unit. We signed a purchase order and credit application.  When we received a bill I called (320) 255- 9784 the creditor (PCI) Preferred Credit Incorporated and questioned the time length and interest rate 17.99%. I stated I had not agreed to this rate or the 8 year loan at $10,333. I then asked them send any papers stating that I had agreed to this. They sent me the purchase order and credit app. I call them back and asked them to show me where it states that I had agreed to such. They could not show me any statement that said this is what I agreed to. I then asked them provide me with transcript of the telephone recorded contract and credit conversation. They stated that the interest rate was not discussed in the recorded transcript. And they didn?t send the transcript but demanded payment. I contacted High Quality Water of Arizona, INC. and spoke with manager (Mike Ross) requesting that they remove the unit because I had not agreed to this financing and was unhappy with quality of drinking water. He stated that he cloud not remove the unit since it was now the property of PCI, but he would work with me on the water quality issues. Mike also stated we were under contract because 3 days have passed and it is useless to fight with PCI.  I asked how I can be under contract when the Purchase order has not completed since I never received the 4 years of soaps and clean products. He stated that I have gotten those a long time ago. He then sent the box of cleaning products to me, which I returned.
To date PCI and High Quality water failed pick up the unit. And now PCI is calling every day demanding payment and threating to send me to collections and garnish my tax return.
I hope you help because my next step is legal action against both companies:

We just bought a Kirby also.  The 1st payment isn't due till 11/6/12 and we get 4 - 5 calls a day from this number. It is getting REALLY irritating. When I do answer, I get slience and then click - they hang up. I am tempted to return the Kirby.........

My late fee is just over a dollar so I don't sweat blood to get it paid on time. After the due date passes I will get 3 calls a day every day until it is paid, I have asked them not to call they even call on SUNDAYS!!! They are driving me CRAZY! They call when I am meditating, sleeping etc, there MUST be something one can do about this.

Just got a call from them on my work cell.  Automated message saying "Stand buy for an important business message," and then a female operator asking for "Carl" or something, then asking for another name.  Kept asking me if I could hear them, was afraid/concerned it was some bot program trying to trick you into saying the word "yes."

The operator woman seemed polite but never identified herself or the company.

Ok, PCI employee, how do you explain me getting calls every morning from this number when I just bought a Kirby last week!  They have no business calling me if this is the reason.  I already paid a $500 down payment, which has already been processed, and my first bill isn't due for a month.  So please explain that to me, you idiot!

How bout when you payment is an auto draft?  I get the calls all the time too even after they draw my payment.....WTH

They are blowing up my phone, they call at least 10 times a day and up until 9:00 at night.  I have no idea what they want, and the most sensible thing for them to do would be to leave a message.  When someone calls and doesn't leave a message, I assume it's not important or they would.

Let me rephrase one of my statements to be more accurate... It SEEMS that this company routinely violates numerous State and Federal laws. I cannot truthfully say for sure that they do this routinely at this point, but my random sampling of the evidence points strongly in that direction.
I CAN say truthfully, that so far, they have violated at least 4 of these laws during calls to my Grandmother.

It appears these people (PCI) are real dirt-bags. I was looking into who it was who was calling, harrassing, and abusing my 85 year old Grandmother. Now i read this and find out the company works for Kirby.
You know... my Grandmother just bought this vacuum a WEEK ago! She hasn't even received her first bill yet and these people are calling 4 times a day?
Two things need to happen here. First, Kirby customers need to bombard the Kirby company with calls, letters, and emails regarding the practices of their finance company and insist that they stop using this abusive company immediately.
Second, everyone who has been victim to PCIs abuse needs to file a complaint with their Attorney General. This company routinely violates numerous State and Federal laws as set forth in the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Check it out, know your rights, and fight back!

i think you should call PCI your self i got the same calls and it turned out it was the Kirby dist. PCI tells them first they are the ones that call you call PCI i called them and explained my predicament and they worked with me the calls stopped

If you have a Android or Apple phone, you can download a call blocker app or call your company to see if they can block the number. Most phone companies can also change your number for free if you tell them you are getting many unwanted or harrasing calls. I have a app that answers and hangs up as soon as this number calls. Hope this helps.

Just yesterday this "company" called me four time twice within a five min time span. I have already told them I am not any Louis or Rachel. I am 18 years-old I've just had my new number for my birthday almost 3 months ago. Why would I want a vaccum at my age? This people are rude and need to have themselfs reported to anyone that is willing to listen. I've spoken to one rude man that I told off as well, which leads me to believe that workers there are no older then I am if you can make them so angry so quickly. I've also spoken to three very polite people two women and one man. And just right now had two calls from them since I got to work. If they do keep calling you all can be assured that I will be calling numbers to have this number taken off!

This company has called me six times..seing as I dont answer numbers I dont know on my phone I didnt answer there calls. They never left any messages. I tried to call back to see who it was and I was put on hold. Then I answered one time and I wasnt who they were looking for so I told the women and she said she would put it on file she was polite. Then today i recieve a call and they ask for the same people and I tell them I am not who you are looking for then the women proceeds to be rude with me and totally disrespectful. I asked for her manager and he was just as rude and hungup on me. I am not who you are looking for and you are harrassing me. Good thing she wasnt talking to me face to face I would have punched her I have never had anyone be soo rude to me over the phone.
