The name that comes up on caller ID is Linda Little. Never talked to them but it has been several times in the past few weeks.

Company name "Account Services" offering to lower credit card rates. Loser on the line said the company was from New YoRk, New YoRk. Clearly NOT a New Yawka. I asked for his number and "Rick" said 911-677-8000. Idiot.

Call from 321.235-8331, Caller ID of "Orlando FL". I answered and "Bill" said the company name was "Account Services" based in Pennsylvania. Typical rude scumbag telemarketer ignoring the federal Do Not Call list. I reported them.

i hit "1" to request to be removed. the man who answered was named jim then he proceeded to sexually harass me and be a complete creep. i asked to be transfered to his supervisor and he transfered me back to himself. I called back in hopes of getting someone else and it said the number was disconnected.

They call me at all hours about credit cards. I finally talk to the woman and ask if this is a phishing scam and she admits that Yes it is.
Diane Williams 2011-06-06 20:46:08 Unknown
I am on the do not call list. I have received several calls from this number and they are trying to ge credit card information from me..
Jim 2011-06-06 20:46:08 Unknown
Said they could lower interest rate. Hung up. We are on the Do Not Call Registry. Doesn't seem to work very well.
Ken 2011-06-06 20:46:08 Unknown
Who are these idiots?
WizMedic 2011-06-06 20:46:08 Unknown
That is why I use Quantumvoice VoIP for my phone company. It is like Vontage but much cheaper. I can get on the website, block the number and I dont have to worry about them calling again since I set 321-235-8331 to just send a busy signal. Or atleast till they call back with a different phone number.........

After pressing one, I got someone claiming to be a Sargent for the Orlando Police Department, then they hung up...

I got a call from this number and it was a recorded message that said they had important information about my current credit card and since I knew that wasn't true,I hung up. I am on both the state and federal do not call registries.

They called me claiming to lower my credit card. Press 1 to speak with someone and press 2 to be removed forever. I keep pressing 2, but they keep calling. So today I pressed one. When the dude answered, I told him I'm on the do not call list. He rudely told me I should have pressed 2 and hung up on me. ARSEwipes.

Call to landline on DNC List from this number. I picked up and got a recording scolding me because they had been trying to reach me and this was apparently my last chance to have my interest rates lowered. Frantic over this grave news, I yawned, hung up, and spent a leisurely few minutes looking up the number online.

Sounds like this is a threat to national security. It sounds like an Al-Qaeda scam to get money for terrorist activities against the US.
David Pedersen 2011-06-06 20:46:08 Unknown
No live person, scam working on credit card.

I had been receiving phone calls from this number for a few months now. Today this number called again, so I decided to answer it. Typical "auto-dialer" recorded message about lowering my credit card rates. Then I was told to press 1 or 2. I pressed 1. A man answers with a firm "hello?" Then proceded to act like he didn't know he had actualled called me. Perhaps he didn't because he had one of those "auto-dialer" machines running. Then he must have remembered and asked if it was about lowering my credit card rates. He asked me some questions regarding my credit card and got frustrated when I refused to give him that information. He told me that he didn't have time to talk with me since I did not know anything, and hung up. After trying to call back the number that was displayed on my caller ID, I got the message informing me that the number had been disconnected or no longer in service.
This screams SCAM and the person in charge of this operation needs to be held accountable for it.

Recording said last chance to lower my credit card interest rate, selected "1" to speak to a person. Asked which credit card he was referring to and he said any Mastercard, Visa, or Discover card. When I responded, so you're not calling about my particular card, he hung up. I'm on the "do not call" list

Any of you who do not take my advice on this matter (see Feb.3, 2009 of this thread) are going to continue to calls from this number 1- 321-235-8331. I guarantee it.
Kristin 2011-06-06 20:46:08 Unknown
I've been getting daily (literally - every single day) calls from this number. I've twice told them that I'm on the national Do Not Call list & twice received rude responses followed by hang-ups.
Russell Proctor 2011-06-06 20:46:08 Unknown
What good is the Do Not Call List if these "folks" continue to call? Is there any other recourse? Maybe a list of "their home phone numbers".
TXCat 2011-06-06 20:46:08 Unknown
Have also received these calls, everyday...I'm thinking I just might get one of those little blow horns for the next time they call, press 1, and let them have it! Maybe, just maybe, a few busted eardrums will take my number OFF their list since the gov't isn't going to do anything about them...sign me fed up!

Kept getting calls from this number and ignored but finally answered to see who it was. Said they represent Master Card and Visa and if I had 3,000 or more total on my cards they could offer a 3.99% rate on any card which had over 10%. Last and final call as they had been trying for weeks to contact me. Told him to call back next night. Gave me time to figure out who they are. If you bite they will want the card numbers I'm sure so they can charge against them. Like I would give them my numbers when I didn't initiate the call. With these economic times, I'm sure some who are hurting will bite.

This is the 2nd time I’ve received a call from 321-235-8331. The first time they called I told them that I was on the “do not call” list, and they hung up.
The second time they call I acted interested in what they had to sell. My hope was that I would be able to talk to a supervisor and tell him that I was on the “do not call” list but they hung up before I could talk to him.
I live in Utah, and if you’re on the “do not call” list and the same company calls twice and you tell them not to call you, you can take them to small claims court. In most cases the judgment is around $500.00 and who couldn’t use an extra $500.00 in their pocket?
Anyway here is the info on the company.

Call came in today at 11:44 CST. Press 1 for information on lowering balance. I pressed 1 hoping for a lively discussion. Didn't transfer. Will be submitting to the FTC

My issue is the same as those listed above me. I pressed "1" to speak with a rep and when I did, the rude woman hung up on me when I told her I was on the Do Not Call List. I will report to FTC.

Just had a call from this number. They didn't actually start the recording. The line was occupied for a while and then they hung up.
We have been on Do Not Call since inception. Reported them numerous times. I wish they would stop these people from Card / Account Services. They can't be a legitimate business, by the way they operate. They call anywhere from once a week to once a day. They never take you off the list via option #2 or via the live operator.

I am on "National No-Call List" but the scammers, the low-life parasites keep braking the law and calling. Isn't there any penalty against those uninvited crooks?

I got this call today...i told them if it was about a collection for my ex- girlfriend, she had moved out and I had no phone number to give them... he asked me to give him her number, I said I didn't have it since we broke up on bad terms... he said "Well then I guess you are s**t out of luck, then proceeded to tell me they were tracking my number and someone would be arriving with a package, that I was to sign for, and something about sending something to Roswell, NM, 10k dollars for me to do it, and I should buy an armani suit...
I told him I had a machete in hand for the delivery guy, he had me verify this, so I scraped it on the door to make it "ring", then he said the guy would be there in 5 mins, with a 9mm and if I didn't follow the instructions I would be terminated. He claimed I had been targeted by some Black-Ops secret govt. agency and I should do what he said....at about a minute to go, I left with my phone with the ID number on it and took it to the local PD... we all had a good laugh... quite an elaborate scheme to go through to prank someone. Maybe I'll be on you-tube soon.
If it is a credit collection company, they are way over the line and I'd love to find this guy I talked to.
