Hang up call from one more "free" vacation scammer with a fake phone number in FL.  Called me at 7:00 pm on 5/25/12.  
They also did another robo call today Memorial Day form another 'fake' FL number with the Caller ID displaying "GATEWAY" at # 407-598-0593, another Kissimmee phone exchange.

My call came at 11:15pm EDT.  I am also on the Do Not Call List.

We are on the Do Not Call Registry, but lately have been receiving A LOT of solicitation calls.  At 10:45pm last night we received a call from this number.  When my husband answered the automated recording said we had won a free trip to Disney.  Seriously??  Like another poster, I report these calls to the FTC using the complaint form on the Do Not Call Registry website, but I honestly wonder if they aren't so overwhelmed with complaints that they are not sufficiently staffed to investigate them all.

Not only are we on the Do Not Call list, but this call came in at 10:25pm.  WELL past the legal hour for these calls.

It does not matter even if you report them to the Do Not Call List. It is a LIST and NOTHING is being done!! We should get rid of the Do NOt Call list since it only compiles numbers. A waste of taxpayers $$$

My number is on the Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) national Do Not Call registry.

I have received a call from this number frequently.  My Caller ID displays only the telephone number.  It is likely a fake telephone number but that does not matter.  While I don't bother answering the call anymore, it does not matter what the live or automated caller says, it is likely false information until you are sucked in anyway.  After you return the call to the number they provide (or punch the number they suggest), you find out the real reason and originator of the call.

EVERY TIME I receive an unwanted call such as this one I report it to the FTC using its online complaint format.  It doesn't matter if it is a fake number or not.  I provide the date, time of the call, what the Caller ID displayed and the message if there was one.  This action lets the FTC know that people are tired of unwanted calls - and if they (the FTC) want the reports to stop, they must stop the unwanted calls by imposing heavy fines or allowing the commercial providers such as Verizon, etc. to block the numbers.

These companies/individuals know that most people will not bother to complain to the FTC - that is what they are relying on.  Thus, they stay under the FTC's radar.  Complaining at this website, other than identifying the caller and letting others know they are not unique, does little to stop the calls.

If more people would complain to the FTC and not just complain on this forum, the FTC WILL take action against these annoying callers.  The FTC does not act on one complaint alone.  It takes many complaints before they will take action - but they DO take action if enough citizens complain.

This number called me at 9:20PM today.  I did not answer.  When I called it back using *67 to block caller id, it said I have reached a number that is not in service.  What the heck???

According to the recording when I answered, I have "won a magical vacation to Walt Disney World and your confirmation number is..."  I pressed one and a voice named "Wesley" came on the line and said "Thank you for requesting to be transferred to our blah blah blah department.  May I have your confirmation number please?"  To which I responded "No!  Take me off your list!"  He replied "No??" and hung up on me.

These SPAM phone calls are becoming so out of hand that I no longer accept calls from whole area codes like 321 and most of the Pacific Northwest. Thank God for applications like PhoneTray.

Why these assclown phone solicitors would continue to robo dial folks who don't want to hear from them doesn't make any sense to me.

Automated call claiming to work for a cruise operator and leaves a code to claim it with. It then lets you press "2" to opt out or "1" to talk to someone. If you press "1" the line tries to connect several times but then you reach a dead line "If you'd like to make a call, please hang up...etc"

I, too received this call.  I did not answer it either.  Naturally, there was no message left.  I also receive tons of calls of this caliber.  What a pain!  Somebody, anybody...do something!

The reason they keep calling is because it must be either a research firm or a PAC. Both are exempt under the DNC laws.  A complete travisty. I don't answer them either or a pick it up and blow a whistle into the phone!

Why are calls being made from such numbers as 321-250-2582 and several others during the week, i.e, 571-963-3216, 847-361-2300 to people or organizations you do  not know and should you answer there is no message? (some heavy breathing). This is a form of a violation of the "do not call" law  Personally I do not answer any call if I do not know who it is coming from.  I have reported such incidents before to no avail.  Who are these people/organizations and why is there no action to prevent them?

Why does this continuation of unwanted calls continue.  I have received three from this number in less sthan 24 hours.  Is there not a law behind the "do not call" directory?  Both of my phones are on the "do not call directory".  Who is in charge of this?
